The Single Craziest AWP Performance in CS:GO History
Vložit
- čas přidán 18. 12. 2021
- When you think of the AWP in CS:GO, chances are a few names come to mind.
There’s the cheery, rosy-cheeked chosen one, ZywOo, the ever-iconic AWP Magician, kennyS, the most decorated wielder of the big green to-date, Big Daddy dev1ce, and the record-breaking GOAT who makes everything look so s1mple.
But when it comes to what is widely regarded as the single crispiest, craziest AWP clinic ever administered on the big stage, it's not any of the usual suspects who can claim ownership.
It’s actually this guy : Noah “Nifty” Francis. A lesser known highlight machine, who wrote his name into CS:GO history by dropping more than fifty frags over the course of a single map at IEM Sydney 2018.

So this is basically "Hey sometimes your opponent is just having a really good day"
Yeah, quite literally
"Flowstate" is a wonderful thing innit
@@bartterp88 I’m not even messing going pro on cs is all about mental, I noticed from my own performance. Sometimes when everything clicks the game literaly moves in slow motion, this is how I think it is for most pros. It’s insane how powerful the human brain is.
@@edddie7563 i agree with that. It just, when i got in the "mood" , it reallyyy is making me a good player on that game. But thats the problem, I can't always made myself in that "mood" . I guess that's what pro player good at, conditioning itself into the "mood"
And in MM, it's AKA - this dude's a hacker!
Was lucky enough to be in the crowd for this event and every IEM Sydney that took place. This performance for this team in front of this crowd was just perfect. I screamed and cheered so much during this match that my voice was mostly gone the next day. It was the most fun I've had watching CSGO to this day. Aussie Aussie Aussie! Oi Oi OI!
Me too man, this game was off the chain... It was so sad that RNG didn't win this particular game. My personal highlight from the weekend EASY...
On that day, everyone was an aussie
I was there as well, it was such an insane match to watch live. Sucks that nothing will ever live up to that sheer hype of us Aussies in Qudos that day
@shirase bro my phone's broken it sends messages sometimes without me knowing so thank you for trying to make me feel bad about myself over an incidental reply I didn't know I'd made
Ah! So lucky
The power it took to not show the coldzera jump awps is unthinkable
and chrisJ's ace on mirage.
Or "Fallen stop blowing my mind"
Or Simples clutch vs Team Liquid
You guys think way too deep into these videos. Loser vibes
@@waves1all1day1er1day Just showing love for an old game. You're the one bringing loser vibes.
I had no idea Nifty was the same Nifty that beat Envy in CoD. He took down a team full of world champions with a no name roster. And then he played with Big Daddy Chino on Elevate too. Crazy stuff.
“He wins the gunfight! Oh my god he won the gunfight!”
I love how crowd screams "AAAAA" at 11:29 and after Nifty dies goes "OHHHHHH"
Damn that escalated quickly
1:48 Hearing the crowd roar gives me chills every time. Nothing like lan cs.
who's Ian
@@ububububububububub1667 he is my uncle
IDK if you watched ELEAGUE Boston 2018, but map 3 on Inferno has the best crowd reactions I have ever seen.
@@sirgeorgioalastrata4104 awesome
I hate Astralis fans this year. Their team's play is not so great but they hype up and tilt the opponent team so bad. The whole stadim is filled by Astralis fans only 😐
Device mastered the AWP. He studied heatmaps of enemy AWPers before matches to maximize winning opening duels. The man was on another level.
Man peaked and just vanished
this is the true meaning of a life game, below 10 frags on the first half and putting up 51 is absolutely insane
“Let’s see some more magic my friend with that AWP” - this sentence and position is in my head every time I play Inferno. If friends ask me, this is always my favorite play (which I saw myself) of all time. Pls don’t hate me for all the other insane plays but that positioning + his confidence is something else for me
12:22 legends say nifty went to train before the match so he could perform a ritual, whispers say the ritual is done by B-hoping from ivy, out middle through connector. if done correctly you may be blessed by the speed demon.
I still can’t believe I didn’t realise it was the same Nifty that played BO2 until like 2 years ago
Dimitri's explanation of LoL esports is so spot on that I can feel the gamer rage vibrate as it emerges
Was waching blast finals and here i am
That 11 minute pause kills me dude
same lol
They needed the break nonetheless. To let off some steam and to cool off as well dude😬🥰
Only Dimitri can turn a clip into a documentary
Probably my favorite awper at his peek, I really hope that he gets back in his glory days
As was mine tbh
@Jairo Aragão it is "peek", and when someone is at his peek he is at his best form, like prime KennyS
@@petrospatrianakos9166 it's actually peak, like peak of your career
@@blitzen6041 oh, you are right, I confused with peek in cs go xD
I was in the crowd for this and i was my very first Lan Event, you cant imagine how hype this was rooting for the aussie team that day
What is scary on top guys like s1mple and zywoo is that they play like this almost any game, you're expecting it
I respect the big names as much as the next but just no, when they drop "54" in a game it's across 2 maps. This kid did 51 in a single map. Literally unheard of.
@@sn0w2001 But is he consistent though in terms of his overall performance cause I've never heard of him unfortunately :v
@@mohdlqhwan3014 no, but that's the point, the original commenter said they play like this every game. I'm saying they don't - no one does, 50 on a single map is ludicrous and doesn't happen. He was also fairly consistently strong to be fair to him but obviously no one is this good most games or hell even any games
@@sn0w2001 I mean it was 51 with OT
@@XXlegovidXx it was about under 10frags on the first half and then the other half it's more than 40 frags. Still that's kinda crazy tho
>A new AWPertunity presented itself
fuck you, Dimitri, I was eating.
Used to play COD4 with nifty in 2008 when he was like 10-11 years old, knew his brother personally. Never imagined that he'd become the player he did.
Travisss?!
@@SwantanamoJ you know it brotha
Dimitri, being ready to throw hands anytime on League will forever be my favourite thing on this channel.
Or anything Riot related in general.
Man has a crusade and I'm all for it.
Watched it live on stream and it was MAD CRAZY.
Sad the Envy move was a disaster for everyone involved.
Someone uploaded a compilation of his performance in this match that I still go back to every once in a while,
My fav player back when he was on my fav team, I hate the fact envy never got him the same success renegades have enjoyed,
Nifty is still a beast!
Link pls
omg I remember watching Nifty playing COD but I didn't know that ended up being the same Nifty in CS:GO. the more you know
Nifty should be given an Australian citizenship for this performance
Do major throwback videos about the older majors
hearing a crowd cheer for me like that after hitting awp shots would be a dream come true man 🥰, must have been a great feeling for nifty. the satisfaction from the reaver vandal bell but x1000.
Had so much fun watching this live, just seeing our home team clutch up for the crowd. such an amazing environment at iem
10:45 is probably the most stylish kill I have ever seen in pro match lol
I was able to watch this game live online and Nifty was really on fire on the second half onwards of their second map 🔥 I believe I had to stay awake to see the end of the second map at least because it was already past midnight iirc. Was on PST
I was following his career since i also went to CS from CoD. And from interviews he gave he basically needs to IGL and awp, he doesn't want to just awp. Which is probably the biggest thing limiting him. Also Selfless was a really significant team because they made it to ESEA pro league which rarely happens due to how hard move ups and downs are. And finally that envyus roster was a whole mess the team comp was never there for example at one point they had Nifty (awp/igl), karrigan (igl/2nd awp), JDM (awp) and some other people that didn't make sense... I think the ORGs strategy at the time was just pick up all the best free agents and try to put a good team together, and sell the players contracts that don't fit. But it didn't work they never had a good team composition.
Same, the BO2/Ghosts days were iconic
I just love the crowd at 1:48 , every kill and they shout loud as hell
This was right after I stopped playing CS, sold most of my inventory, and stopped doing, watching, reading anything CS related. This was cool
This is one of those performances that streets don’t forget
He should have been twitcher, and most probably became more popular than shroud. Nifty is so humble and smart! Its very pleasant to hear his voice!
I hope he will find a team🙏
I played a lot of cs back then and just watching these games was absolutely insane
One of the most underrated and probably my favourite awper of all time
He isn't underrated, the dude was inconsistent as hell. I always hoped he would get a spot on liquid or c9, Renegades Nifty was good and should have gotten a chance in a good team, but Envy Nifty sucks, just like his team. Also eventhough I was a Nifty fan I have to admit that Renegades best time was after Nifty left.
Man went full super saiyan lol
I love the little talking bits at the end of videos but this one couldn’t have been more true 🤣🤣🤣
every once in a while when i have a bad awp game i come back to watch this insanity
theScore esports manager: we don't have content cause the season is off
theScore esports writer: no worry we put Nifty again
The nifty fifty is an old danelectro guitar amp, a little jeopardy trivia for you 👍
Watched it live, the best esports event I’ve ever been at
Holy shit! An AWP video without coldzera jumping double? Is this an new era for the scoresports?
his highlights are definitely the most entertaining
"let's see some more magic my friend with that awp"
the Op still to this day has THE most satisfying one shot sound in all CS
"Hey, sometimes your opponent is just having a really good day."
I wish he will comeback soon because he is really talented and probably a great contender
9:38 "he's bringing out the goods in this round" lmaooo
holy shit. i didn’t know this was the nifty from COD. he was huge for a small amount of time because of how young he was. crazy how time flies.
That clutch against nV was insane
Still cant believe i saw this in person
Bro when I saw this title I knew what game it was and I was in the crowd and that shit was insane
Oh shit I remember watching this game, it was insane, the crowd was cheering for every kill that nifty had. It was crazy
Most pros on good day becomes online , Nifty on other hand unlocks ultra instinct
Coming back after his official retirement announcement hits hard
The bloopers bit hurt my soul Jesus.
I miss this Renegades lineup, holy shit that was fun to watch them.
when he did that AWP movement
I pogged ,I pogged real hard !
🔥
Dimitri is my favorite story teller
I always liked Nifty and he even posted something on IG after a very long time as I saw randomly about his comeback or something like that.
The lad who never shot through smokes
i do remembered old times as he doing so many magic shots vs tyloo at cache
Nifty was also a cod player for some small teams in Black Ops 2
He was taking a break. Right now chillin in Dallas
5-12 to 51-28. never give up. miss this game so hard.
I was in the Livestreeam and bought a niffty gold sticker from london 2018 when it came around.
Ayo daddy Dmitri back in the building
"Sometime your opponent just has a good day"
i saw the title and alr new this was about the nifty 50
Those bunny hops with scope on, ooof.
He keepin it Nifty on Fifty!
Rise up again nifty50 💪
The fucking goat narrator. I will watch every second of this video in your honor.
I was waiting for another coldzera vid
I was lucky enough to watch this live
Fun fact : NIFTY 50 is also the stock market index made up of 50 biggest companies of India. So the thumbnail obviously had me a little confused for a few seconds there. 😅
'Nifty is a gamer, man.'
Movement boiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
Remember him clutching vs Envy back in Black Ops 2 comp cod.
i think almost everyone has these kinds of moments where they completely pop off even if they aren’t the greatest of player(talking about me and my friends)
Nifty’s body was possessed by the soul of S1mple that day
Nah bro, Nifty is Nifty, not comparable to a no name 😏
@@natoh72 lmfao you're a true blooded aussie ain't cha
@@zettour. nah mate you're wrong on that one
I remember watching this on CZcams a few seconds ago
I remember watching that game he was so underrated
the ending hurt.....
Dude I feel so lucky to watch that game live. Nifty went absolutely nuts he had like under 10 frags first half and went on to post 44/5 score in next half and following overtimes iirc
Thank you for being the one american that actually says aussie the right way
I think this guy (Nifty) should stick a little more to playing CS:GO, he's really good at sniping. I liked his performance, he's a really versatile player 👌
Nifty hit fifty frags in Sydney wow
Nifty one of the best Awpers for sure along with Guardian, KennyS, S1mple, Devi1ce, Cadian, chrisJ, zyW0o and woxic, also that movement on apartments against mouseports is so slick af🔥
Ive said this and ill say it again, c9 shouldve picked him up to replace skadoodle/stewie
The nifty fifty will go down in history. From a player that was arguably in his prime. Shame Envy never worked out because the kid was going places
He shoulda gone to Cloud9 in place of skadoodle. With Tarik leaving too he shoulda been a prime target, an Awper and an IGL double whammy
I had no clue that the nifty from that bo2 clip was the same nifty from cs. Controller and mnk legend
MOVEMENT BOIIII !!!
long waited video
Lol I'm a bit mad that Guardian wasn't mentioned in the honorable mentions of greatest awpers.
Hes a good player, hope he finds a good team
now do the video of s1mple fifty vs MIBR
IGL, ENTRY and awp all in one game xD
