Season 3 is hands down the best season there has been of sanditon. Not a second was wasted and loved every plot they had.

This was just fabulous! I admit it started a bit slow as a series. I am sure I am in the minority but as much as I like Theo James, I never much warmed to Sidney. That being said.....Season two seemed like a restructure after James departed and they tried to film during Covid. Season three was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. It was everything my sappy, romantic, happy ending, Jane Austin loving heart could have asked for...This was called an adaptation for a reason. It was made from an unfinished Austin novel. I think Jane would have liked it too. Well done all!
While there is a strong sdney contingent I don't think you are in the minority. I think S1 ended being up a launching pad for the far superior S2 and S3
I loved it all Colbourne surprised me so much in S3 had a total makeover the man who previously repressed everything he felt for Charlotte now let out all his feelings making two beautiful and breathtaking declarations of love he has become the typical hero of Jane Austen, although not a character written by her, is part of her universe with all the typical characteristics of JA heroes, I can't wait to watch the entire final season of Sanditon.
I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved this show. After Netflix's Persuasion and all the heartbreak Charlotte went through, the show didn't feel very Austen and I was so worried it was going to be terrible. But this has exceeded my expectations. I didn't like Alexander at first. But in the end watching him repress his feelings and then his expression of them, I said, OK this man can stand up with the best of Austen's heroes. I absolutely love Alexander and Charlotte and I'm so happy for them. 🎉
OMG!!!!!!! Alexander’s confession, Charlotte’s realization, and it all ends with two happily married people and a baby!!!!!!!
Thank Goodness we didn’t get disappointed again. The replay button might just explode from how many times I am going to watch this

I binge watched all 6 episodes of Season 3 on Sunday night, as soon as they became available. The final season of Sanditon is absolutely and positively FABULOUS! I couldn't believe it. I was screaming and crying, all at the same time.

I cried a river. Alexander's expression of love and unwillingness to give up was way beyond what I hoped for. I loved Pride and Prejudice and the newer Emma, but this.......
Thank you so much the best part of this story has both Charlotte and Lady Susan became sister in laws !!! I love the romantic love story of both Lady Susan and Samuel Colbourne when the Colbourne brothers full in love they never give up and change and grow for the women they love. and the outstanding acting from both Jack Fox as Edward Denham and Eloise Webb as Augusta Markham performances were outstanding. For the first time Edward finally learnt how to love someone other than himself and walked away from Augusta with her virtue intact without torturing emotionally like he had done before.
You could see in Edward's eyes that he did, in fact, love Augusta and gave her up because it was the right thing to do. I keep bookmarking all the Sanditon videos that are available because they are all so great. On some, however, a slight quibble--the sound often overwhelms the dialogue. And, oh, a wish that won't come true--a fourth season of Sanditon. There are so many stories that could be continued/finished.
And…..The baby…..oh I’m loving this …..Colbourne at last broke thru his hardened heart thanks to Charlotte. I’m so excited to watch the rest. Seriously nothing can pull me out of the spell I’m under whilst glued to the tv screen watching this Sanditon. It’s positively addictive Adrenalin stuff. I’ve got to remind myself it’s a story, but one so delicious about their love story and how fate brought them together and nothing could stop that kind of love. ❤❤❤
This show is the difference between what good austen/regency romance is...compared with that persuasion Netflix crap. This was done properly with good character growth and excellent chemistry
2:23 that was the outcome I'm sure many of us were hoping for at the end of season 1. I'm so happy that Charlotte was finally able to have her happily ever after, including a child of her own!

Well, I couldn't resist such a beautiful temptation, not after a whole incredibly long year of waiting. I binge watched the entire Season 3 as soon as it became available Sunday night. Season 3 is WONDERFULLY EXQUISITE! We got what we were hoping for, plus a whole lot more. And I'm going to binge watch it again this coming weekend. Yippee!

The only good entertainment is one PB$- America has to much entertainment that is full of violence and lust - a though they do not understand what love is all about - then you wonder why people seem to be losing their mind over here in America. It is pathetic!!

Oh, my God, you killed me. Haha. Seriously, what is it? Do you have the whole season??? I'm not breathing. Not just the wedding. but do they have a baby in the final??? Seriously? It's better than you could have dreamed of. Beautiful parallels with the first season. Bravo to the writers. They didn't let Jane Austen down. Alexander is a wonderful type of Jane Austen's heroes, although she did not invent him. The story of Charlotte and Alexander has entered our hearts. Thank you for the wonderful video, I hope you will do more.

To add to my previous comment still, Cobourne's confession felt a little like Darcy's from Pride and Prejudice, which I like. He's always felt like a Jane Austen created character even if Jane Austen didn't create him :) He's got a little bit of Mr. Knightley and a little of Mr. Darcy in him, I think. :)
