I personally think Vijay's performance in Leo is one of his best in his recent filmography. The script lacked essence, some CGI scenes looked awful yet his performance was Outstanding.
Probably the best acting I've seen in recent times for a commercial movie in Indian film industry

What if :
Leo is the main villain of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe and this is just an introduction to the character.
So much emotions would be involved with him if he's the antagonist
I do think for heroes to amazing we will need a very strong villain/s. Rolex we know for sure but Leo I think has no alliances but to himself and his loved ones and could swing any way
blud we got ROLEX , and i dont think we ll like seeing leo getting all beat up by others and would die if he is a villian, so NO he is not gonna be the villian .
Unpopular opinion maybe, but Leo was a great watch, I loved it the first time watching, then I loved it more watching it 3 more times. It was an ambitious direction, every stunt sequence was a risk attempt, the movies didn't lag anywhere, it didn't require any intense storyline as the full movie focused only on Leo, who is he, a nice introductory movie about Leo character set for the LCU.
I'm glad there is someone who really well understood the movie 😌

Sandhanam,Harold Das were Villains.
But What is Leo/Parthiban?
He was a villain before and then he left all that.
He saved a hyena,his daughter and employee and became hero.
But the fact that he killed his own Father and Uncle brutally and the way he acted and lied to his wife if you think about that. It is psychotic behavior.
In the end the director left us with a person who has all of the above personalities(of every other LCU character) and we will see what will he become next.
There is a whole song in Leo which asks a question, Villain Yaaruda? (Who is the real Villain?). And at the end of movie , the song played on TV says I am a Wicked(evil and morally wrong)person, So ruthless and I never lie trust me.
Leo/Parthiban is the most complicated and interesting character of LCU according to Lokesh Kanagaraj.
How is dilli a hero. They never literally revealed anything about dilli. His past or future. We still don't know " Sambhandham irukk " Vishayam. 🤷♂️
@@cinephile1050 He is hero because he saved the lives of many police officers. I know we don't know about his past and we will know in Kaithi 2 but in the end of Kaithi director left us with Dilli the Hero.

Parthiban - older lion who has strayed away from his pride

Even Parthiban's hair and beard is styled to resemble the mane of an old Lion. Seriously, the effort Lokesh puts in is insane.

Netflix is Releasing an English Dub for Chirstmas guys...
The "kid" is Malayalam actor Mathew Thomas, who played the younger brother Franky in Kumbalangi Nights (2019 Malayalam movie).
Although this movie had polarizing reviews, I enjoyed it thoroughly upon the second viewing more.
Agreed that the second half wasn't upto the mark with illogical scenes and below par CGI, but the action sequences and acting of Vijay alone was worth the watch.
