Water Holes for Whitetails, where and why!

Water, I tell clients all the time I’d rather have a water hole then a Foid Plot. You should see the crazy looks I get!!
The reason is this water is so so so important in the Whitetails day to day life that it makes for a great spot for a stand location. Unlike hunting on a Food Plot you can get into and away from these locations without Bumping Deer and the Odds are in your favor for a successful hunt.
I do not recommend these water Holes on Food Plots. I do recommend in some cases to add them to a Shot Plot that is well screened in because of the PM early season Hunt and or Down the Transition at a Well used Stand that is a Spot to hunt during the Rut!
