How do y'all feel about Venture?
she’s feels pretty overtuned
Really fun but also scary when he's on the ground and just pops up
I found out Cassidy is kind of a hard counter to this character. He has longer range and his nade completely locks out their abilities.
I dunno what it is, but they feel ok how they are.
First glance things that come to my mind that can be tuned are Ult charge increase and Shield gain on ability hits instead of just using them
I wonder what happens when Venture digs under the ground and goes beneath a junkrat or hog trap
I agree, I think venture's ult voice line could be in their native language or just more powerful. Cuz when i hear them ult in game it just sounds like an ability.
Well they're French-canadian (samesies) so that could be fun. Something like "début des fouilles"

I don't think Venture is overtuned tbh, at least not as much as you made it sound like... it's just an Illari effect, very different hero, people dont know how to deal with the hero. When people learnt to shoot the pyllon Illari immediately became trash. Also, about you not being able to cancel the ultimate, it makes total sense to me as it's a transformation ult and those are not cancelable by default, e.g: whole hog, rally, valk, primal... if you say that it doesnt make sense because its technological, girl, you can cancel high noon wtf, this game didnt make sense at ow1 launch dont expect new shit to do so. All things considered great video brother keep up the great work
it is near impossible to beat them in a fair 1v1 as a dive hero

@@spectrum3448 oh right because it's so easy to beat someone that shoots projectiles the size of sigma rocks with splash that can heal themselves while also doing massive amounts of dmg and missplacing you
yea for sure, its an in the moment type of thing. I only played 3 games against em and thats not enough to even see how to fully play against them and also tho, venture players dont know the full potential either so time will tell really. but they also have like...every passive and ability in the game so i wonder how it will work out
@@The_Rilo I think the fact that they're 250HP might compensate the shield gain, their burrow is slow af you can't really use it as an escape like translocator plus it's on a 8 second cooldown, so you either save the drill or have to hard engage and get a kill to get out alive. They're not like DPS Doomfist as in being able to use two abilities on a 1v1 then have a spare one to flee, you either soft engage or fully commit to an elim and risk dying; I think you need to treat Venture like Sombra, a risk taker dps that can commit differently to certain situations, so you either poke them to mess up their engages or play together if your team, I think what makes them look strong is looking at them like a soldier and stuff

At first I didn't like venture cause sombra pack didn't do much to them, and I use to do really close 1v1 as usual, but with venture if you're too close is mostly their win, with the dash and underground. So the best way I found is trough the virus when them just got out of the ground so can't cleanse it, with a decent distance, sometimes hack so no dash and bullets
yes distance is the key and you have to tp out if they dash on you. but then go back in and waste venture’s util.
One of the first matches I played was in no limits and we were all Venture except one enemy Sombra who typed in chat about misgendering them, and then messaged me after the match about their religion justifying it like…. It’s gonna be so hard maining them lmao but they’re as fun as if not more fun than Echo who is my other dps main next to Sombra

What’s your mouse sensitivity Rilo
For me I feel like they should remove venture’s shield thing. Without it they can be one shotted better by other combos. They have way too good survivability. A good example is 5:27 you could’ve killed venture without dying but because the shield they were able to kill you.
yea that sheild is crazy. i see people comparing it to mei and reaper but mei can’t move and venture can. and reaper has to hit a shot to heal. venture can just spam 2 abilities back to back and get over 300+ health. if they were a melee/ close range hero i would understand but they have mid range and high mobility. But i know that overwatch does op releases on purpose for the fun but i wonder what they’ll do later.

The thing about venture is although she counters sombra venture is a close range fighter like reaper. Chances are if you hack her close to a team fight she will die.
I get more and more frustrated that they bothered to rework sombra, when they've also consistently nerfed her indirectly or added new unhackable abilities.
It's awful, and while new sombra has her pros, I will never forgive them for what they did.

heroes get buffed and nerfed, that's how balancing works, she just got buffed, play the hero and stop whining

I’ve been seeing a bunch of people talk about venture and their playstyle, and I think they have a bunch of potential for different team comps and combos!
their movement is fun, the splash damage isn’t too big or too small imo, and the ult really only stays on the ground, so if you stand up on high ground or out of the radius, it won’t affect you! personally I can’t wait to play them when they come out fully, I wanna experiment as much as I can!
yea they are def fun and unique. I do love that it’s not a copy of anyone else on the roster. I have though of grav and then venture dives under and just jumps out on top of everyone stuck inside 😂

For me, I thought Sombra was a good counter. I was fucking on everyone who had played her when I was playing as sombra. Im in the plat rank area tho so maybe its that

Start shooting at Venture first, specially sense you can still get the drop on him before you, make him blow his CD's we Sombras still have a better escape and can re-engage better, then you can use your full combo. I been bullying Venture players all day.

Yea its kinda tough to learn atm, you need to play right out of the the splash damage range and NEVER in melee range. its just some adjusting to get used to.

I don’t think it should be canceled by a simple hack. Sombra’s hacks are already too annoying. It’s not like a one shatter, it’s four, if they have an enemy sombra it’s dead on arrival and you can’t do shit.

Yea they arent as overtuned like Sojo release but they have every single passive and ability you can think of 💀 I know they have a tactic to make everyone super powerful on release cause we DO NOT want another lifeweaver incident lol. Im excited to see what next season has to offer.

Yea they are but it doesnt have the echo effect sometimes like others have, it might be a bug. i do like that they have each sound play when they use the shockwave so you know its coming

4:17 They need to change Sombras EMP to just be a Massive Virus AOE.
And every one that got Hit by the EMP will start taking Crit Damage from anyone on your Team.

so why not just get rid of it and change it to just an AOE Virus.

Well i think its just a little too much right now. Not as drastic as like Sojo release, but venture does have like so many passives and abilities that people have yet to learn and how to position, time will tell when people learn the full potential.

@thedonsinclair2561 yes that annoyed me the most was the shield heal.
Venture seems to be best at mid line, so beast to avoid and take out backliners and work up to Venture. Their abilities are really good defense and offense wise but if you’re patient enough, you should be able to take them out. I played against Venture as Sombra earlier and it seems like virus still helps shred them down, just have to be careful with their abilities
yeah but they can immediately close the gap between them and the enemy supports and go after you so you are basically forced to either kill them first or have them be busy with something both of those situations are unlikely
yea you have to be a bit further out because of that splash damage but its just some getting used to

Yep, if venture is a direct counter to sombra than good, Heros totally busted if you know what you're doing, and she was strong back in ow1 and if you look at her kit, it's been power crept in every way possible, she used to have a cd cycle you could track and while hack had a longer duration, all she needs to do is hack you mid movement ability so it barely matters making the million things she got in exchange, not worth it and in my opinion is now the most overtuned hero in the game 😂
But at least the rework made her more fun to play so I dont mind swapping to diff them now but if venture does counter sombra I maybe found a replacement.
@@SandlerShephord sombra is not even close to being overtuned she relies so much on enemy mistakes that if the enemy team actually groups up you can't get anything done alone if ur tank is bad the enemy team can go after you easily all you get to do during those times is spam virus from long range I'm sorry if you just don't know how to deal with sombra besides counterswapping but she is definitly not as good as you think

@@engineergaming3830 just hack the right people and isolate people, it's the same as tracer or echo, that problem is a problem with anyone looking to flank and you solve that problem the same way on other flanks so its not some new issue that sombra has encountered lol like I dont have the energy to master tracer and sombra is just easier tracer but I do enjoy playing tracer just its 10x harder for the same kinda value in alot if not most situations i find. But I guess maybe at the very top tracer out does sombra?

Idk, venture has every thing...sombra can just virus kill or emp, so just normal stuff. Venture has the mobility and invulnerability like sombra, but then venture has splash damage and range to spy check. These ventures just arent good yet im telling you 😭

One thing you know and should know... Never make a video comparing new heroes... New heroes will always be overpowered whether it's a support, a tank or a DPS... You know any new hero can kill the entire enemy team alone. By season 10 he will also be overpowered, but they will weaken him before taking him to the competition.
