- Ameerpet land was gifted by then Nizam of Hyderabad to one of his Jagirdars named Aamir Ali in the early 1900s. He built a small palace as his summer home and used the area as a summer resort since it was densely vegetated and had a pleasant climate and also water bodies. This palace now houses the "Nature Cure Hospital".
Ameerpet is known for its commercial business of all kinds as well as an educational hub. It is well known over the city as a hub for software training institutes and coaching centers. It is gaining world wide reputation with the Software Training in India, students from different parts of the Country come to Ameerpet to join in various Training Courses.
