I love this. I love the story of a rising star, I love all the story behind the film, everything seems to banal but magic at the same time, I love the nostalgia the technology and the aesthetic of the film, makes me go back to that era. You know it’s the simplicity of things that make them magical.

can someone please explain the plot in greater detail?
Ray has a summer job cleaning pools, but he also sneaks into his client's homes to check out their stuff and sometimes take things. JP is new to the job and starts to become friends with Ray who is training him. When JP realizes what Ray is really doing, he decides to set him up by taking Lisa's house key and giving it to Ray. When Lisa and her family are out of town on vacation, Ray and JP go to Lisa's house and Ray goes inside. JP leaves him there and calls the police. In the end, JP sided with Lisa and the clients over Ray and his weird, possibly clepto habits.
