Several colleges in the US have been participating including, Yale, Columbia, Princeton, Temple, Emory, NYU, Cornell, USC, UT Austin and many more. Several students involved in the protest have been arrested. The Israeli government calling on President Joe Biden and University president's to get involved.

@zohreHakimi18 if you listen to the reports closely. Now you have to do it closely or you might just miss it and you will notice 3 things. You might notice more but these three
things are what you should observe. 1. I doubt your kid goes to Columbia or probably any of the other schools protesting so you shouldn't be concerned with university's safety affecting your kid. (But they might and if so I understand your feelings)2. No reports of violence. You have arrests and shouting matches and some agressive behaivor but nothingmore. 3. If you listen closely and you have to listen closely for this. The people they interview say they do not feel safe. There is a difference between feeling safe and being safe. For example a roller coaster may feel unsafe to many people but with the right engineering standards it is probably safer than LA rush hour or even just commuting to work. So with that said I get it the next gen is filled with snow flakes who may feel unsafe and typically that is do to a lot of coaxing and coddling from their parents according to Jordan Peterson but thats another issue. So if your kid feels unsafe because what is going on at a University that they do not attend you and your kid maybe facing more serious mental health issues and I might say that you may need to seek counseling if you feel unsafe in a place you do not frequently visit. I might be wrong your kid might go to one of those universities but my other two points remain valid. It was nice to hear you voice your opinion. We need more conversations and less arguments.

@@lindanurdreamz That is not the fault of Israel. It is the fault of Hamas that confiscates a lot of the aid. Hamas has vowed to do Oct 7 again and again, and 80% of Palestinians seem to support Hamas according to polls. Why hasn't Hamas surrendered? Why haven't any remaining hostages been returned? ....if Palestinians want peace? Did you know that prior to Oct 7, for the last 15 yrs, that Gaza has shot thousands of rockets at Israel? On the north, near the Golan Heights, in Lebanon, Hezbollah has 150K rockets of various types and ranges that they have been firing at Israel's north. Israelis can not live in the north or south now. Iran continues to pay it's proxies of Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis because they don't want Israel to be able to continue with the Abraham Accords in the Middles East with countries like Saudi Arabia and wants to extinguish all Js. That is what Iran cares about, not the Palestinians. So, there is a lot more to this, and Israel is under threat from more than Hamas in Gaza.
The US needs to respect human rights and improve its democracy, also to stop supporting terrorism across the World. I also wish the US to gain its independence from Israel
