"I was really struggling with this one. Took me like 3 or 4 tries" humble as always.
I was hoping for some validation with A-4, I spent an hour on it, it grinded my gears
Ironically one of the hardest ones for me was B-3 lmao, it took me like half an hour to get a 17.186. Then I was doing the harder ones in just a couple of tries. Whatever sense that makes.

It's harder than GT5 Licenses? Most of those GT5 licenses are fucking insane, specially for controller players.

Gran Turismo Movie for me is as amazing as Nijigasaki Season 3 OVA NEXT SKY Movie.
The last snow challenge was torture. Barry R was certainly a worthy adversary
Yep. On the last snow Master License it needed 45000 retries just finally got a gold medal.
Already done with it. The snow challenges, personally, was the hardest. But it was good fun. Fun video Mr. Albon.
For me everything is the hardest in Master Licenses since cars used are way faster.
Shoutout to Alex Albon for making all of the chapters. After all he had enough time after he DNF'd last weekend
Every try from Super GT means at least half an hour for us normal players, so if he does it first try that means half an hour, 2 tries, an hour and so on.
I’ll be honest I’ve found these easier than the normal tests, gold on everything about to start the lap attacks.
Remember, boys, try to maximize track limits on Master B-8.
Left the track even slightly in Master B-8 can cause you to FAIL.
I've done everything up to IB and they were mostly doable, these video's are such a big help to get the rest!

Wow that is some nice helpful Footage. I hope I can manage to get Gold there. Also on IA-10, when you spoke out the little Sections of the Nordschleife, being native German I have to say you pronounced it quiet nicely. Well done Steve =)

Master License IA-10 is also very hard with Porsche 962C as it needed 267 retries somehow, man.😅
This really shows you the power of using a wheel and pedals on controller it ain't so easy
I had wheels and pedals with gtsport and dirt rally 2 and despite a lot of practice I was always second or two a lap slower.
Using my controller, and even me being ancient and still using x as the accelerator(having tc set on 3) square as brake, automatic gears, I was able to get into the top lobbies on my favoured tracks. Usually within a second or so within the top 10 times in europe. You'll go fast when you feel comfy enough to be able to feel like you can push it here and there and remain in complete control. I felt with ordal and wheels I was never fully in control, with me seemingly putting in the same inputs but getting different results.
@@johnnybravo9096i will say, sometimes the cars drive differently because of the settings on your wheel. Some of them are sooo slippery on wheel when they arent on controller and i got full throttle.
I can't even play gt7 or any gt but your videos definitely still help me.....cheers mate :)

Just finished these with all gold using a DualSense controller! Pretty cool seeing these done with a proper driving rig. 🥳

I just bought a wheel, but I'm so bad with it that I gave up and I'm doing the tests with controller anyways lmao
@@Terrtailadjust your settings on your wheel, man. It makes things so much easier. Also working with cars different traction can be difficult so i get it lmao

Having a real hard time with IA-5 on controller. Managed to gold all other IA tests up to IA-9. If only I could take your advise and “just keep the car under control” 😂
I'm on a wheel and I've tried 100+ times.... To be fair I hate this section of Bathurst so that's probably got something to do with it
@@coreymaxwell807 I hated Bathurst, and was about 4 seconds off the Circuit Experience time, but I finally managed this one, then Golded the S test in the Civic, went back to the circuit experience and Golded it by a full second. The down hill section was my Achilles heel.
How you describe the handling characteristics of each car would make a killer series. Reviewing various cars from the entire GT and forza series. By the way, on the LFA test. I guess you could say that you're a ....smoooooth...operatooooor

i'm on IA 10, hopefully your run will help me out. one thing i always do when doing these tests is turning on the demonstration ghost so i can follow their line and also pay attention to the times they set so i know the maximum delta i can be behind them to get gold
This brings back memories of the license tests in Gran Turismo 4. That was quite fun and it’s still a pretty good game in my opinion…… I got a good chuckle out of the Master B-8 part 😂😂😂

GT4 is still the best GT. They need to bring back El Capitan
@@andreimati2279well that game came out in 2004 so there are plenty of cars that didn’t even exist when that game released but there’s still cars that can hit almost 400km/h and for a PS2 game it had amazing graphics and physics for the cars.
@@RuanAntunes7 gt4 is the most complete racing game,literally the pinnacle of racing games.Ive played it myself and even though its not a simulator everything from endurance races to modding cars is simply so much ahead of the time.Looking forward to playing it on computer
I think your guide on getting gold in the master license tests is definitely a 10 out of 10. Keep up on making GT related videos Steve!
Changing the abs setting from default to weak helped to keep the cars straight under braking for some of these.
was happy to gold A-5 on lake Louise on my second try using what I learned from your snow racing video a few days ago, i.e. throw the car hard into every corner
good luck on the run! honnestly i didn't fount it that difficult had struggles sometines specially on snow tracks, or with cars i'm not used with, but in general i think from B to IA maybe on 4 or 5 tests my times on the first run was over 2 seconds from the gold and managed to eat time here and there while getting used to the car and got all golds, i'm on the super license atm, i got probably 3 or 4 golded atm, didn't tried the others.

Hey man, love the videos! One thing I think would be cool for future videos, is if you cropped out the brake and throttle indicator levels and pasted them side by side right above where your face cam is and had them synced to the video. Not necessary, but would be a cool addition that would make it a lot easier for viewers to dissect how you manipulate the car’s weight through corners.
Man I don't think I'll be able to do the Master B-8 challenge for this whole month. It's quite hard.

You can double shift the MP4 on the straights will gain you a tonne of time

its crazy how different you and me drive the black series in a-10, i never stopped being sideways for the entire run and you never were and you drove so careful and soft on the gears… i guess i just felt home cause i grinded ia-10 in the amg gtr on nordschleife in the old licenses a lot and there youre also always sliding

If I recall, the one that was hardest was in a skyline and you had to drive a fair distance before braking & stopping in the zone….
I recall me & my mate both stuck on it for at least a week! 😂
The hardest in Master Licenses are Snow in Master IA-8, MASTER IA-7 with SF23 Superformula and Master IA-10 with 962C.
I never realized the Master B 8. The moment you re-dictate it and said Love it. I only realized it after the video
Ah, Master A-5. My favorite. I came out of A-4 with gold, only after ***dozens*** of attempts. With my bloodstream comprised of 50% adrenaline and 50% rage, I hopped into A-5, cussed out the textbox that automatically appeared, and got gold on my first attempt.

Amazing video, i just beat all with gold from IA except the 962C which is last to practice but still to get the master license. It does seems they have reduced the time for snow trial with celica - you have to go much tighter now to make it.
This is why we love Gran Turismo. It's a challenge. Not just a dumb racing game, full of high performance, top of the line cookie cutters, like Forza.

dont know if i will bother with these since there's not much incentive for them but do love the strait to the point video keep them up :)
Top tip on these especially when I began Master B-3 make sure the ASM is turned off. I normally have everything off except ASM but with this on I couldn't get near gold was really struggling. Turned ASM off got it on my 2nd try.

Some of the original set of licenses kept me stuck for days. I'm glad there's more content but damn, I'm not ready to go through the pain again.
On A-8 you can eat up the last left-hander curb even more, with 2 wheels on the grass.
The track limits are very forgiving there.

Super GT you should try a reverse entry drift aiming for the center of the bend and power out on the snow map
