Just start going to the gym and try it out for yourself. You’ll probably do great but I would recommend looking up or asking for correct posture and technique to not hurt yourself. If you do start, good luck!

I'm telling y'all, gym dudea are the most supportive and wholesome people out there. Ive never had a bad interaction in gym with anyone and literally every person there is willing to help you out at any moment.
I had a personal trainer who trained groups he used the women to punk "lazy" men who complained the. weights were too heavy. He never argued with them. He'd just give his energy to the hardcore beginner females who were kicking ass. Out of pride the men tried harder. He transformed so many lives.
She's so tiny it's hard to believe she can lift that 😂 The first 2 are impressive as well but when you look at their bodies you can see that they are advanced athletes. But the last one looks like nothing 😂😂😂

Yeah that's because a lot of times men are creepy, so seeing them with distrust becomes the default. I think it makes more sense to judge the source of the problem (misoginy, which allows a lot of men to act creepy) than the consequence (women being overly defensive towards unknown men due to past bad experiences).

As a woman that currently works at a gym… I love my coworkers and members!! Our gym is small so there’s such a sense of community and anytime I clock in or clock out and go lift, I get told all the time how good I’m doing and the great progress I’ve made. Very wholesome and encouraging.

Honestly this motivates me a thousand times more than any “fitness journey” video. Because I watch those and I can’t relate to those people, they found motivation somewhere I can’t find. But just seeing people doing amazing stuff like this and such a cool environment in the gym makes me wanna work on myself. I think that’s my path lol
