it does look incredibly nimble in the hand just by looking at it! I want one haha!

My only complaint is that the edges of the guard should be a bit rounder to avoid deformation. Mine got severely dinged up in it's first spar. It's perfectly functional, but they can turn aesthetically ugly quickly.

Most people complained that he guard is made of soft steel. There are very dig differences in the VB armory, but I guess it has to do, in part, with the fact that not every type of sword sells well and therefore VB puts the focus and quality control to the best selling products. My Heavy HEMA Saber from VB is now almost 2 years old and is in perfect condition compared to the amount of use in sparrings. We just got some Light HEMA Sabers in the school and after 4 to 5 good sparrings they seem to be very good, if it was soft steel we would see it by now.

Any here ever use a pike armory messer?

I was wondering the same thing. I like how the Pike model has a slight curve. To be honest, that makes the whole thing unique, otherwise, it's just a very short and weird arming sword.
