5 years sober now! Battled at 9 year addiction to painkillers and muscle relaxers after a serious injury playing Arena Football. Through God and a wonderful wife I was able to tackle this disease. However, I’m aware that we are all one slip up awake from falling back in this hole so I will never take my sobriety for granted. If anyone out there is struggling with addiction please know that there are those of us out there that are fighting with you. One day at a time God Bless!

I have been sharing the hell out of this song. This song whether you are a rock fan, metal fan, country, fan, hell even a Rap fan, this song is POWERFUL and I think at least needs to be listened to once. The message, the LYRICS alone is powerful. The tune the song itself brings the lyrics alive. Every fan in every Genere can use this song as some kind of theme in life. We all face challenges in life, we all have stuff we have to fight. I fight depression and anxiety and I think I found my 2017 LIFE theme song right here.

I have had depression, schizophrenia and etc since I was a little kid. I'm now 27 and happier now than I've ever been. A part of it is my wife and our family but before she came in my life I had music and bands like Seasons After, Papa Roach, Three Days Grace to help me not end my life. To anyone who feels life don't get easier. I know from personal experience it does get hard but everyone including you who sees this has a reason to never give up.
