0:38 my personal favorite chorus of ptv. vic sings it like hes talking over himself. "don't rain on my parade--ITS gonna glow in the dark" with little time for a lyric to finish to where the previous lyric literally OVERLAPS with the new line. so f*cking cool. creates a very confusing and desperate feeling which is literally what the song is abt. its sung like hes struggling to convince someone (the sun) to not leave him. also supplemented by the instrumentals sounding just as unhinged and unstable. another cool thing are the little lyric changes: boy on the blue moon: 1) dreams of sun 2) hears a nightmare in his head 3) dreams. in the end the boy on the blue moon is left alone. the lyrical/instrumental cohesion in this song means everything to me. only thing missing is ya gotta hear Southern Constellations everytime u hear this~3:57 is actually my fav part bc i get to hear tht chaotic lead guitar and vic more clearly and also bc tht last "perfect thiiinnng" leaves me speechless
