Bro I live in Montreal. The ventilation that you showed later for fresh air is used as house humidifier as well. If you ever see condensation on your windows you need to keep relative humidity between 40-50 degrees. Very important

Hi just wanted to say please store extra grocery in clear tote boxes with tight lids otherwise mice will find a way to your basement. It has happened to me and had to call pest control. Please don’t store everything like that and use big/small boxes with tight lids you can get those from Home Depot or Canadian Tire.
