I got absolutely shat on by the friendly widow in open queue, I was solo healing on Moira and I had waaaaay more heals than I had damage but I did the mistake of pushing the bot with the other 3 people who weren't sat in bloody Narnia babysitting her. All while they were like oh I'm carrying this team, bro playing the objective won us the match not how many elims you had. I have won against teams with Widows a bunch of times because they didn't win enough team fights
honestly anyone who plays support should get paid like $600 a month to cover therapy costs

Unfortunately in OW, there is no ”MOST” toxic player, there is only a “MORE” toxic player. I.e., there is no ceiling when it comes to toxicity especially when players are in denial about their lack of skill

Feels so great to see that I’m not the only one experiencing this, although I wish none of us would experience it. I had a widow die multiple times and only hit one shot and somehow it was my fault, told me to kill myself and his middle school e-girl was backing him up. They had the worst positioning and got bodied by the enemy ana. It just felt like shit honestly. They were also French, coming from a French guy, I hate playing with French people, 80% of the time I end up being cursed at just because they got frustrated by their lack of skill.

The 2nd game is a perfect example of typical OW matches. No matter how positive and friendly the environment is, somebody has to make it about themselves and make it toxic for everybody.
Mercy main here. I love playing support, but I'm seriously developing anxiety from all the toxic people with no game sense or situational awareness blaming me for the team losing, when they didn't get any kills and let the other team's DPS run free to kill us, then blaming us for no healing.

I’m glad to see when support players are stood up for by others. I was nonstop sexually harassed by someone in voice chat in a game a week or so ago (this was before my boyfriend showed me how to mute voice chat and text chat to protect myself, as well as how to leave a game), and it was so bad that it triggered a ptsd episode. Instead of being stood up for, I was told to stop crying, shut up, and play by a teammate.
Ashe was clearly dumped by his Mercy e-girl for a Sojourn. 😬

I don’t even play overwatch but you definitely can be bad at a character. And regardless that person learned mercy from you and probably learned how to position, when to use her heal and damage, etc. that person is salty because he doesn’t like to play mercy and other people do lol

I was playing on new york, defending, and the rein charged into their spawn area and died. The echo kept yelling at me to rez the rein. Their whole team was alive. After like 10 miutes of echo yelling at me for not rezing the stupid rein, the rein chimmed in and was like that would have been a stupid rez. And of course that just turned it into, im not rezing anyone, which i was.
Widow in the first match: Mercy, rez me.
Mercy: (backing away due to the enemy team pushing the payload)
Me: Yeah, and she'll probably die in the process because she's in front of the entire enemy team.

I was considering turning back on VC and this video convinced me that I absolutely should leave it off.
Something that really ticks me off is when teamates ping you to heal them when you die then get angry call you all the bad words in the dictionary then proceed to give up or leave the game ngl one time my whole team left and I still tried to take them on they were like 'let's give them play of the game' and another person said 'nah let's finish the game quickly' but I still managed to kill a few of them and pushed the payload a bit more not only that I got play of the game without getting handed it! Moira mains deserve all the ❤

I had a teammate complaining the whole game instead of doing call outs. Apparently I’m a trash support cause I was keeping my rein alive even tho kiriko’s heals spreads out to everyone nearby who is critical. It just turns out that our junkrat got one tap and I’m supposed to keep them alive through that.
idk how you stay in voice chat during these moments - but I'm happy you can hold your own against such bullshit. :( Everytime I come across this behavior in text or voice it just makes me not even want either enabled.
