What most likely happen is the technical director (button pusher) and the show director (Makes the call outs, over sees every camera for the show (Nascar averages 200) and in some cases controls the commercials) had a miscommunication. That Slate from fox is a manual override by the show director to reset the show timed based graphics and media. In this case, It seems fox sports does timed based commercials. The Tech Director may of hit the skip to next phrase. Which started the commercials early. Of which, depending on the streaming service they used. You can't stop a phrase until it's completed or do a override. I haven't worked for Fox Sports so this based on my other streams I have done. They need to add another show director or at the least another producer. He seems to be doing to much.

Second time that Ricky took out Kamui, he has something against him. I was listening to Kamui’s radio the rest of the race, he said that he had a target and they were egging him on to catch him lol. He was putting in some damn fast laps near the end to give it a shot too
Fox teased you guys with some edging for over 2 mins, then just got up an walked away becuase they had something more important to do. You thought you were in a for a real treat, but all you got was a lousy commercial break.
I’m sorry, but I don’t find this entertaining. You guys are just constantly hating on the race every five seconds. It’s not funny at all it’s boring and stale
