    Thank you so much this was very helpful. I find that when I do print and cut through the cricut that the designs print out less crisp than if I print the design straight from illustrator. This is frustrating because I know I have to use the cricut software so that it can make that black outline and cut correctly. Have you ever run into a print quality problem? Any tips? thank you so much.

      You can use your iPad. However, the design space is formatted different and you lose functions when using the iPad.

    If you save your image in procreate with no background and outline in white and save as a PNG you should be able to upload to Cricut w/out having to erase the background. I figured that out by accident. :)

    Hi there ! Do you know how to create stickers using photoshop or illustrator and any other ways to print without cricut?

    • @CreativelyErica
      @CreativelyErica  Před 3 lety

      So the only way your cricut can cut an image is to upload as a print then cut and print on your printer using the cricut design space. If you were to upload an image and just hit cut, I lt would cut the outline out but wouldn't have the image and wouldn't cut it correctly. I don't think there's a way around that. Maybe with another cutting machine/software

    • @CreativelyErica
      @CreativelyErica  Před 3 lety +1

      If you skip the print step it'll just cut out the shape of your design but it would just be white because it wasn't printed on.

      @@CreativelyErica it’s just a word that I’m printing on a chrome vinyl sticker. I tried it and it ripped it, also I noticed that the sticker was very thin. Should I have made the pressure a little lighter or would it be that the blade is dull and needs to be changed? Thank you for your response.

    • @CreativelyErica
      @CreativelyErica  Před 3 lety

      @@rydenroam5551 are you trying to make the entire word out of the chrome vinyl or are you printing the word on the chrome (and then cutting) so it has a chrome background? I just wanna make sure I'm understanding. In any case, unfortunately most metallic vinyls are super thin and rip very easily. You could change your cutting pressure but you may have to cut around 2x. As far as the blade, I rarely ever replace mine, just get some foil, ball it up loosely and stick the blade in and out a few times and it will sharpen it right up.

      Yes, it's just a lot harder. You may be able to use another type of stylus to make it easier but not sure what the capabilities are with procreate. Also, look into other apps like Adobe Illustrator to draw out some stickers.

    • @CreativelyErica
      @CreativelyErica  Před 2 lety +1

      I meannnn, the more artistically inclined, the easier it'll be for you. BUT, let's say you have really pretty handwriting- you could totally make stickers with words/phrases. Even if you didn't have pretty handwriting, you can download different fonts. You could also purchase and download digital artwork. Some artist will only charge a one time fee but you can only resell on products up to whatever number (typically its like 1,000). Some will sell you the design and the rights to it so you can use however much you want. Check Fiver and Etsy for digital artists/downloadables. Hope this helps!
