The Sululta Project (Ethiopia) - The Water Station

Turning the tap on at home and filling fresh drinking water is not possible for many people in Ethiopia. Even in the city of Sululta, many inhabitants have little access to clean water. The reason for this is that, although the region is rainy and has abundant water resources, there is often a lack of infrastructure to support people. Nestlé Waters is active on the ground through a joint venture in cooperation with an Ethiopian company and wishes to help improve the situation for the local people. In close cooperation with the municipality, a first project started: the construction of a water station. People living around the Nestlé Waters plant can now get clean drinking water every day.
