Regine is an inspiration to all successful singers in the philippines. Shes is indeed a queen. Without her the music industry will never be this good. Its regine that started it all. Everyone look up to her. Everyone tried to copy her singing style but the songbird is undisputable. Her voice may have changed but she remains legend and the only asias song bird. You may want to listen to her previous songs and albums concerts and performances to see for your self.

Love love love the reaction. To answer your question Morisette is not a champion anyway she didnt even reach the finale of the voice when she lost her spot to klarisse de guzman sad but look at her now shes phenomenal and her stardom reach the whole world not just in the Philippines.
Yeah Morissette did not win in the voice, but i think ABS-CBN considered her as a champion because of her achievement in international contest as she represents Philippines in asia's song festival in korea a years ago. 😊
Queen Regine popularized You'll Never Walk Alone after she won the 1989 Asia Pacific Singing Competition. It's a NO NO if you would sing it without the birit. That's why hehe
Morissette was on the same edition of The Voice of the Philippines where Mitoy won (unfortunately, she only placed 4th), and the concept of the production number is to have all the singing contest champions sing with Regine, who herself is a champion of numerous amateur singing contests before becoming a professional singer and ultimately, she became the winner of the 1989 Asia Pacific Singing Contest a few years after she retired from joining amateur singing contests
Regine was also a Grand Champion too at a national singing contest where she emerged as undefeated. She just graduated from being a weekly champion ( 8 weeks) and won the grand finals - Battle of Champions - the same with Sarah G. and Jona, that is why “Grand Champion”.

Well Ovela, in the past 10 years that Regine was with the other network, she had been asleep. She was given these projects that are not really a fit to her CRAFT which is SINGING. And abscbn had always unleashed the best in her. So now that she's back to abscbn, you are right its as if she has been reborn. Her passionate singing is back. And again abscbn has always unleashed her very best. As a matter of fact most of her finest performances back in her glory era, was with abscbn.

Her winning piece is "You,ll Never Walk Alone" She won also 100 times Amateur Singing Contest in the Philippines with no formal training. Her vouce coach is her late father. Thats why she earned the Title of Asia's Song Bird & The Queen because she sets a standard for Filipino Singers (her signature belting) Until now that she is 50 y.o. She is still in the music industry and singing and belts out like she used to.

Ovela, I think the Philippines is patriarchal in some ways not matriarchal but equality does exist and i'm saying this purely because our system, our laws and everything that surrounds our modern society is based on the constitution of the United States Of America like the 3 branch of government and its laws and we inherited it from them and one could argue that the US constitution are created by patriarchy. We did manage to elect two female President in 2 different elections before the US, First in 86 and the second one is on 2001-10. Equality when it comes workplace and politics are pretty equal to both genders, we have females senators, congresswoman, female mayor, female governor, we have females in all many different branches of the government but the numbers of men in politics are high compared to women and when it comes to child custody laws its favorable to women/mothers.
Ps. So yeah, we are not like the some Middle Eastern countries who treats women as if they are things that you own. Women here have voices and women here can be quite scary if you ask me esp. if they become your GF. LOL

The unemployment for men are higher that means women are being employed more by 94 percent while men are only 93 percent, the graph also shows that women are being paid higher wages. So no one is forcing women to be a house wife. STOP MAKING YOUR COUNTRY AND YOUR FELLOW COUNTRYMEN LOOK LIKE BAD TO OTHER FOREIGN PEOPLE AS IF WE DONT VALUE OUR FILIPINA WOMEN.

The fact that you're shaming them is a sign of patriarchy; that is, you're tolerating, not accepting. Why do you care so much about what they wear, anyway? I can't possibly show you stats and data as there are no existing parameters that can measure and evaluate these incidents.
