Thank you, I really liked the look of the two together as well. Was just looking at them yesterday thinking time to finish that bolo tie!

This is excellent. I love that you're not using a template (or whatever)----- I wing it with copper also, such a great construction/prototype tool. I'm getting ready to make my second bolo. The first was with crappy purchased cones. This video gives me the confidence to make my own. Thank you!

Yay!!! You can definitely do it. They really are fun to make and kind of relaxing with the hammering.

Awesome demo! Thank you! Where do you source your bolo cord from?

I get cords from either: RioGrande, Springfield Leather company or Endless leather out of Germany.

Thank you so much for this video. I tried recently to make some of these, just winging it and my seams went wonky. Theyre harder to make than I thought! If you wanted to bring the very top to a fine almost point what kind of thing could be used as a sort of mini mandrel? I have the forming block and that’s what I used to make mine but I was wishing I had something to use to sort of firm them around that came to a fine point.

They are a bit tricky. There is a tiny mandrel that could be used to help. I was trying to find mine to show but it has gone missing, one reason this studio needs a deep clean.😂
