Because the camp site is VERY close, it's a great option since you'll save A LOT of time by skipping the commute, however part of the tradeoff (or benefit depending on your POV) is that the campsites are basically a mini EDC 24/7. People I know said it was a fun experience, however it was exhausting because it was impossible to get quality of sleep. Which way do you think you're leaning?
Ive been going for 13 years. Bring pockets with zippers. Bring wipes. Cash. Never have valuables in your back pockets. Be careful with your phone and wallet. If you think wearing a bandana for a mask is dumb like i do bring it anyway. One time a stage was all dirt and the dust messed everyone up. Always have a meet up location. Take a picture of your parking spot. Leave an hour or two early to avoid the worst traffic ever and heat. I left halfway through my favorite artist. Its always ok i ended up seeing Amelie lens again anyway. Take water and snacks in your car just in case you are stuck in traffic. I dont really recommend the shuttles because i see people always mad and struggling. Make your own decision though ive never taken the shuttle. Ive just seen miserable people waiting. Get to edc early. If you get there past 10pm get ready for crazy traffic. Lock your doors and dont leave valuables in the car. Ravers are thieves sorry guys but its true.

That's a great idea overall but EDC is a cashless event these days
