これほぼ暗譜するまで必死に弾きました。それでも結果はボロボロでしたが、今でも聴くと血が滾るような感覚になります。発表から時間が経てば経つほど恋しくなる曲です。弾きたいのに楽譜は回収されてしまったので、スコアが見れて嬉しいです。

スコアが見たかったのでありがたい。三楽章が変拍子なのは聴いていればわかるけど、一楽章も拍子が変わるところがあったなんて面白い。二楽章もゆっくりなので気付かなかったが5拍子だったなんてちょっと驚いた。

弦楽器の曲をよく書くのですがこの曲はお手本で「こういう音」を出したいと思った時にこの曲はその場面がほとんどあるので
なんどなんどももう数えきれないぐらい聞いています。
作る曲は実際に演奏してほしいという思いは全然ないので写経をしているような境地かと思います。

候補2つとで競り合った結果別の曲になった。調べずに決めて容易に弾ける曲じゃないことは後に試しに弾いて痛感した(同じくコンバス担当より)

A lot of Shostakovich and very little Japan, but the music is highly entertaining and well structured. Akutagawa is someone worth investigating.
