Such an unique report. Haven't seen many of Maldivian's reports on CZcams, so it's amazing to watch this report. The views of Maldives are absolutely stunning. I hope that you had a nice stay there 😄

I just love the dash 8 series, especially this one, sadly, maldivian is now about to retire this airplane soon and will bring in atr aircraft instead, they already have the art 72 600's and 42 600's as well, soon these aircraft will be gone :(

He wasn't criticizing the size, just citing out an observation. But I do think that the Domestic Terminal at Velana International Airport is in desperate need of an upgrade. It is not yet equipped to dealing with the large influx of domestic flights we've had over the last 5 years or so. Hopefully upgrading works will begin once the runway and international terminal projects are complete.

no it was not low
thats not low. that is an altitude called 'minimums'. when you reach this height, you cannot descend any further and will go and land on the runway

When I went to male on a plane and it was going down that means that we are there I didn't even got scaard but when I got back to kaadedhdhoo and the plane was olmost so close to the water and I was so scared so I didn't even looked at the window
