Pausing during a reaction in order to explain something about how the song made you feel without risking missing something isn't bad. Quite the opposite. Pausing is great. If you just want the song, go to the original video. I can also think of quite a few people who would love to chime in with some "haha" or "yeah" or "ummm-hmmm" at random times, if you want that part as well. One comes to reaction channels for the reacting person and how one's favorite songs make the reactor feel. To, in a way, relive one's first contact with the song through the reactor. To get excited about the song again, like one used to before having heard it so many times. There is no one way reactions should be. Pausing, not pausing... Both have their pros and cons. In my personal opinion, however, not risking talking over a specific special moment in the song and missing it is the way to go.

I just can't stand when reactors pause the vids just to repeat exactly what they just heard, overreact or give a symposium. I just enjoy when they react THEN explain what they thought. Literally ripping off the video by showing it in its entirety on your own channel and thus taking views and ad revenue away from the original creator is great. Just because you then say "I liked it." and do all the blah blah blah about subscribing and liking and sharing and the bell icon to pad out the length of the video after doing so is enough of an excuse to get away with showing an unchanged, full copy of someone else's work. It's not "stealing". It's "reacting". Is that what you meant?
