After a KIA motors plant was established near Penukonda village of Anantapur, several restaurants and guesthouses exclusively meant for Koreans have cropped up. Shockingly, locals are not even allowed entry into these establishments. The manager of a restaurant confirmed this to the Sadak se Sansad team on camera. This violation of constitutional rights has not received much attention. The Wire takes a closer look.

NOTE: The Wire has received information that some of the area's Korean restaurants, including Kanganam, do admit and serve Indians. The district magistrate of Ananthapur, G. Veerapandian, has stated that his staff visited the Korean restaurants in Penukonda, and he gave his assurance that action will be taken on any complaints of discrimination.

I have the right to let people I want inside my house to come inside my house, and according to your analogy anybody can move in or move out. Racial discrimination is actually very legal in South Korean law because of the lack of legal definition. I'm Southeast Asian and was advised by my ex-gf not to stay long in small hotels because owners used to get easily 'frustrated' by foreign nationals from non-Western countries. The funny thing is, thousands of foreign soldiers from the Third World countries died to protect their freedom, and stayed long there to help those gits rebuild.

Forget that, in Andaman, I was in a restaurant where there were two segments.. The luxurious segment and the regular one (only a little bit less luxurious though) was divided by a glass door.. The luxurious section was only for foreigners..

1. Those restaurants are for EMPLOYEES. Are you an Employee? Why the heck you wanna invade into a restaurant that is set just for EMPLOYEES?.
2. Most of the employees there are Koreans. Indian and Korean cuisine are very very much different, so to make them feel homely and comfortable they set up restaurants for THEM so that they could have home-like food in a foriegn country they are working in.

This discrimination exists in Samsung Research Institute as well....there is dedicated and exclusive dining facility for Koreans where Indians are not allowed. In Huawei, Indians are not allowed to access certain areas in the building.

Couple of reasons why this is happening :
1. We simply Do Not like the food.
2. Few Adventurous Locals might have tried the food and didn't like it at all and refused to pay.
3. They are selling alcohol without license, as I know Koreans cannot live without alcohol and will never eat their food without it.
4. They are selling Beef and pork since most of Korean dishes contain them and they are scared to reveal this as this could mean serious consequences being in India.
The local landlords might or might not be aware of this as they are getting higher rents.

I own a Hyundai i20. I was considering KIA to be my next purchase since it will be manufactured in my state but after watching this, i have decided not to buy korean vehicles. We Indians are a huge population and a huge market. Whenever we see such discriminative practices against us, we must avoid buying their products. Then they shall automatically fall in line. If not ,they will pack and go due to poor sales.

Guys let me tell you clear facts: The restaurant it has been shown 1:00 is beside my home. I had been once in side to have dinner. The menu there available is completely not Indian food. Pork, food made of insects etc.. which Indians don't prefer ... That's the reason behind it. 1)They think all Indians are Vegetarians. ( They may look offensive in video because they don't know English which causes a communication barrier. But actually they want you to say that they serve non-Veg like Beef, Chicken, Mutton, Pork.. I think they didn't want to get into conflicts of beef ban or whatever.. And for those who say they eat dogs!😵 WTF Kid?! You've really been living under a rock. It's Chinese not koreans. They are really hygienic:)
2) Let's be honest, Koreans don't socialize easily as Indians. They need time to socialize. They are way busy in their work that they don't even say hello to their neighbors in Korea. As usual New Generations good at socializing but it's a rat chase for Elders.
3) Being honest, the international media is so bad that only bad news about India is shown to foreigners😡. Americans call India a Rape Country(To be honest, why can't we ban it?) and a slum city. This is the reason many foreigners think Indians are Preverts. So, this might be another reason they might not want Indians to come into their restaurant.
I admit that some Koreans are somewhat rasist. Please try to understand the situation of Koreans here. 🙏🏻अतिथिदेवो भव 🙏🏻(Guests are equivalent to God). Let them have their time to solve these problems. We must respect them and show our kindness. It's no use of taking violent actions.
