Games Workshop is another repeat offender. Seems to be a wierdly big overlap in the Hololive and Warhammer fandoms, but the way those fans are treated couldn't be more different.

Could be! I'm sure (or at least I hope) that her gimmick will revolve around her ability to endlessly marathon with a smile on her face lol Some kind of scaling passive heal that gets stronger the lower her health is would be interesting.
There's a lot of items that become good given the premise that you won't get hit. Unfortunately pikipikipiiman isn't one of them. You would probably just want to use injection asacoco and/or mask instead.

It has potential to be good for characters like Gura who can get hit without actually taking damage, allowing you to buff your crit chance whenever you want fairly safely. Also IRyS can use it fairly effectively.
Fauna too, whose skills almost entirely revolve around her constantly healing herself. Honestly any character so long as you have the Succubus' Horns item (and you're not playing on one-hit mode obv).
It works well with any chars just get a YAGOO pillow also it is better in endless as enemies constantly hit you beyond 25 mins mark.
Same goes for Kiara with Phoenix Shield, or basically anyone with MAX'd Ear Covers.
I run it on Kronii too, if my body pillow is high enough level. Kinda risky since it might turn off the Perfection passive but it really keeps the haste from Kroniicopter rolling. (even though sake is probably the better choice)
Honestly, after running this item on Bae, it's not that hard to get hit and survive to activate it. But I still only picked it after every other crit item on Bae. At least the run was successful.
it is for the most part but for certain crit characters it isn't a bad choice, you're undoubtedly gonna get hit sometime, paired with something like the body pillow or fauna's shield and you get free crit, iris benefits from crits especially. I do hope she gets a character specific buff using that item when the gamers update comes out tho
I maxed that with iris along with the body pillow and the other thing wherein you pop like a bubble. She became extremely OP lol

its also a get out if jail free card.. boosting crit for that extra damage so you can get out of a mob
I've had Piki with Sake leveled up with mumei and if you increase her Crits along with getting her skills upgraded she melts people. Civilization is such a good skill.

It is useful for Irys. She benefits from regular damage and heals from critical hits.
I used it for characters who get a lot of critical hits. Still trying to unlock Iris, though. >.> Damn gacha.
Irys with crit heal and yagoo plush is dope. That 0.5s iFrame is more than enough to tank almost every instance of damage in the game.
I actually run sake and pikipikipiman with bae. If you have dakimakura and get hit (without shield breakin), youll get both crit rate buff.
With bae and all her passive i can get 80% crit rate.

Tried using it on irys.
Build in order: infinite BL > max nephlim blast> dragon fire > concert > Elite cooking > cutting board
Prioritized items: body pillow, succ horns, Piki Piki piman, full meal
last 2 items- your choice, but I go with headphone 25% chance at max create shock wave(idk if it stacks with the skill hope at max 50% chance to create shock wave so that's 75% chance per hit), and injection +50 damage max in exchange of 5%HP/sec.
the key to this build is ticks per weapon, more ticks, more chance for crit and cutting board for survival(crucial if you want to pass 35+min mark). when you beat the boss, 3 waves after that you'll guaranteed get hit. but with this build you'll only have to walk vertically. Level up prioritized +HP, +SPD(not haste) and +ATK if they appear. You'll be surprised how of a WALKING TANK is Irys. get's healed up 6HP/.3sec + 20% chance 10%HP heal per kill.
This is god tier for IRyS. She has so much healing it doesn’t matter if you get hit. So just proc it as much as you want.
in fairness, situationally picked is the better term because some characters can benefit from crit hits greatly and getting hit like Irys's skill being Half-Angel and Half-Devil. Sadly, its use is limited with the current roster. I hope more crit characters can be released so our doggo will be happy. That or adding crit dependent skills in the future.
Yeah IRyS was my first thought for it because she also has a heal on hit passive making it almost like it's currently designed for her.
Bae is more of an accurate choice. She’s extremely crit heavy.
@@choco699 I don't think it's for Bae though. If you upgraded all of the Bae skills it almost guarantee crit, which make that item unnecessary. In contrast, IRys need some crit chance buff to trigger her passive skills. Once IRys crit chance is high enough, she's practically immortal from her angel skill. Unless get one-shot quickly in the late game.
Ayame, Suisei or Iroha could be a great choice for a crit based character in the future, just get some inspiration from Yasuo.

Sadly it is, cuz generally you don't want to get hit, especially when you have the 1 hp stuff for more score in endless mode, sorry koro-san 😭
I kinda like it together with the Bodypillow, since you can stack it with the Sake bonus if you don't take dmg.
But u can use it with irys cus irys have skill that heal when take damage
I used it along with Sake, so I get the bonus regardless on whether I get hit or not (prolly not the best use for these)
@@guseko938 problem is, Lamy's sake has a better crit buff and relies on you not taking damage, so piman's not as good even for quick healers like Fauna and IRyS.

I like how Koronesukis just straight out says "Don't need it" lmao. For me they do have a point since you really don't want to get hit, and even if you do get hit accidentally, a 10% crit isn't much.
Yep thats the problem, if its gives 10% permanently instead of having duration thats gonna be broken. Or just increase the rate like 50% for 10s, thats sounds fair

It can be leveled up for greater buffs and it stacks with Sake + Bodypillow, I believe.

Can I just say that I love Korone instantly recognized takodachi? A lot of this imagery isn't as well known on the JP side, so it kind of warmed my heart that she recognized them and knew their name. I haven't watched every JP stream of this, but she was the first I've seen do so.
Piki piki piiman is very good when paired with Sake and Body Pillow. You can get 20%+ crit if you get grazed because the Piiman gets triggered and the Sake buff remains.
well, that item actually works tremendously with iris, gura and fauna. iris has a mechanic where she gets stronger and self heals when hit, so that's great synergy (it doesn't really shine with her main attack, but collabing something together will show some good results), fauna self heals and has a shield so "getting hit" rarely hurts her, and with her strong damage output on her skills this works out ok, and gura is basically the hardest character to kill if built right thanks to her small size skill, she'll run right into mob swarms and come out the other side without dying (she also self heals with the shark bite skill, combine that with choco's horns and you've got something going)
Imagine saying this whole thing a month ago when the game wasn't released yet. Just funny to think about

Bruh. With sake irys already have 35% crit. How the hell is it not effective lol, it also has 0.3s CD so it not like you always need 100% crit

Imagine Korone having boxing based attacks.
Then have a skill 'Fighter' which the more you take damage the stronger you become.

Or, maybe her ultimate is like a Build-up counter attack where she's invulnerable and once she gets hit enough times she explodes for major damage.
She'll have Eekum Bokum somewhere in her kit.
Maybe Korone can do some extra Crit Damage compared to any other member's Crit Power. Which would make building up crit rate a good approach. Plus, likely to be a tanky close combatant. CRONCH! Right in the yubis.

Irrc Korone even saved doing any gacha pulls for a "next time". I can't imagine there being anything more validating or motivational for the people that are working on this than so many holomems playing and loving it.
A bit like with Okayu and Elden Ring. I remember her fighting Tree Sentinel for almost 3 hrs (in her first stream from around 4:16:00 until about 7:05:00) , which would be very frustrating for many people. I even went for groceries and she was still at it. And she continues the game after that, showing that she really enjoys the game.

The ítem works if the character has self-healing, or some serious evade like maxed gura short height, even Kiara with her shield, but yeah, not a must get, yes, now I'm yubiless.
Our endurance doggo surely gets something like that
It works best in Endless runs and specifically with Irys who benefits off crit and getting hit. She can tank Yagoo for days.
Korone's item becomes better then sake the second you get deep into endless or how i like to call it 30 minute mode considering the 30 minute mark enemy
those 10 really 8 minutes you are constantly getting hit so sake is off
edit: it combos well with Injection Type Asacoco since you constantly take damage, all you need is good healing

There's is a mod for vampire survivors that makes everything look like from Madoka universe. It's very anime

Funnily enough, when she first saw it with Ame, it could've been a really strong choice lol
Since one of Ame's character specific buffs is crit chance, and her main weapon hits multiple times, if you build around crits and weapons that have a lot of hits, you'll have a ton of opportunities for crits and high chance on each opportunity. If you combine the piki piki piman with the sake, whether you've been avoiding hits or just got hit, you'll have a crit bonus.
if you get the yagoo daki, you can get hit with shield on and you'll have both piman and sake active

This item is amazing for Irys, since she heals on crits, has a chance to heal on getting hit, so you are always trying to take damage so u can heal to increase your damage, adding crits on top of that is crazy
Even on Irys its garbage,because you simply crit anyway every 3 second after 10+ min. Too much hits,too much enemies,you 100% getting crits every 3 sec for skill
It’s not that bad for the early to mid-game, but the increment is a bit too low to really be great.

It's pretty decent with Gura's dodge/regen skills to further enhance her damage multipliers, or to max out Bae's crit chance. With most builds you try to avoid getting hit though.
It's pretty good with Ina AO skill though... Since getting "hit" by harmless takodachi still proc the crit up
"Takodachitachi" amuses me greatly. Genuine question though, is "tomodachi-tachi" redundant? Would it ever be used to refer to multiple friends? Or is it its own plural like "sheep" and such? My understanding is that "tomo" is friend and "-dachi" is the pluralizer, but I definitely see it used to refer to just one friend at a time. So perhaps it's reached a point where it's common enough to see it used singular that it can sometimes be worth specifying that it's plural, and that might be a way to do it. But none of that matters if no native speakers actually use it that way. So I'm curious if anyone knows one way or the other.
I'm guessing though that "Takodachi" means "octopus friend", not "multiple octopodii", and as such is strictly singular.
Puns and wordplay. When it comes to Japanese-based media, they are very fond of it.
Tomodachi is the full word for Friend(s) and is used both singular and plural. Replacing it with Takodachi simply turns it into a pun, to single out one member or pluralise the fanbase, just as how Ina uses it.
Korone is neither right nor wrong in this sense. It is likely she just said it on instinct, but that the idea behind her saying Takodachi-tachi, is understood by the audience.
I'm not sure how to describe this, but people only use "tomo" when used in a way to say "My friend". Picture a dialogue where it goes "Waga tomo yo / tomo yo", instead of "waga tomodachi yo / tomodachi yo".
But take my explanation with a grain of salt. It was also debated that anime speak is not indicative of real speech.

Piki piki piiman is a pissed-off pepper.
Piki Piki Piiman is great with IRyS Skill, paired with Asacoco Injection (a bit later on game) IRyS is practically invincible
If you fire that plug in type Asacoco at somebody at that speed, it doesn't hurt, it goes right through clean!
PPPiman is actually super good in endless when enemies swarm you so fast you ineveitably get hit anyways
It is weak if DOT character instead of a crit one but it's a pretty fun item for a Leeroy Jenkins IRyS build. You just descend in the middle of the mobs and they die of hope.

Piki Piki Piman would fit well into a moveset for Bae in HoloCure, who relies on crit chance. It's not a weak item per-se, but needs an ideal moveset(s) to work.
E: Looks like IRyS also benefits from Piki Piki Piman in a skill set as well.
since there's decent recovery / shield options it isn't necessarily bad - it just is situational

PikiPiki Piiman is pretty build specific and I don't think it benefits you too much unless you start getting health and regen upgrades.

This item has changed, and it is now a LOT better.
It bow instead increases max hp, but it also gives a scaling attack bonus based on your total max hp (1% per 4 hp at max level).
This makes it now one of the most busted items in the game, espaclly on characters with lots of hp.

Pikipikipiman is actually good with IRyS. Because she heals so fast. and needs the crit. Tried it out myself
Probably best on Gura who can avoid damage. Bae who has a skill that multiplies criticals can also use it especially if she uses the Daki with it. Can get her to like 70-80 crit depending on how much crit you got on her from the store. Even higher with those +3 crit level perks.
I wonder if Hololive and the developer would collab to improve this game. Especially with the ranking system, gacha, new skins, and others. They have a lot of opportunity
Piki piki piman can actually be extremely good on bae, imagine this, you have fully maxed crit upgrade, maxed sake, maxed piki piki piman, maxed ratng and a body pillow and you'll have a nice 90% crit chance
