  • This video is answering how to look taller and improve your look while flattering feminine body shape.
    I'm using clothes from Inga's wardrobe to show the ways how to look taller, pretty and feminine. Please note, that Inga is a petit lady and she prefers wearing high heels, therefore you will see them a lot in this video.
    I hope you can adopt favourite tips to yourself!

    Thank you! I'd love to watch one about how to style with flats. Although heels elongate the legs, not everyone can wear them :)

    • @Lookatmeshine
      @Lookatmeshine Před 6 lety +2

      erika lazo one thing I would say is if you want to wear flats with a dress or skirt then the hem should be mini skirt length (half way up calf) to best balance out the body and not cut it in half. If wanting to do it with trousers always opt for high waisted, and never skinnier than straight cut. As a short person with sore feet I find these make me look taller but it's worth just experimenting as your body shape also impacts how your clothes show shortness.

    Hi Giedre,
    Really nice work, I think your youtube channel is heading in the right direction, these styling videos with the 'unconventional model' bodies are fantastic! (tall skinny models look good in most things...) I think everyone agrees, us 'normal' people (non-models type bodies) want to know some tips and tricks too! I see that you have now added some notes on your video, because someone commented. Believe me, we want to see more from you and watch you succeed! it is great that you are taking feedback:)
    To all the people who keep saying they don't outfits with heels, I have the same issue with most people, I don't like to/ can't wear heels, so it would be great if you could incorporate some styling tips without heels.
    In saying that, guys, this is a video on how to look TALLER, of course the best trick to use is to literally add some height! it is probably the one feature that makes creates the biggest impact so of course, she will add heels to each outfit to make the model appear taller!

      @ashu eposi and others- a "low vamp" makes a lot of difference, not only on flat shoes but heels as well. If the shoe covers most of the foot ("high vamp"), it shortens the leg visually and looks unflattering. If the shoe is cut so you can see a good part of the top of the foot, it looks more graceful and flattering. :-)

    @jammasterlee Před 5 lety +1

    first of all, i really do like your approach. it's helping me think about my own fashion. 1:39 you kind of changed the whole look. she was going for something kind of breezy and urban but then it was changed to something more formal and tight; it is an overall improvement but i would've liked to have seen you keep the same theme but just tighten it up a little. maybe pants on bottom? idk, but it could've been played with for sure.

    • @jammasterlee
      @jammasterlee Před 5 lety

      3:37 that's really neat. i was thinking waistbelt as well. something so simple can change the entire outfit. again, you really like black. more black shoes..bust profile is a little extreme, but given the shirt prob no other way to make it work; maybe she could wear it open with a cool tank underneath? dunno..

    • @jammasterlee
      @jammasterlee Před 5 lety

      6:18 you could prob have just tucked her shirt in and left it at that right? why the giant sweater? always same solution: waist belt or high waist, roll up sleeves, add black pumps; must be more ways to complement a shorter bustier frame.

      Dilara Turunç - I just want to say that you are beautiful, truly! Focus on what you *do* feel good about and remember that most people will notice the best part first and may never think that anything is wrong with your legs. We are usually so much more critical of ourselves than anyone else will be! And if you have a “friend” that does pick out a flaw of yours and makes you feel uncomfortable about it, that person is not a real friend and is probably trying to make you feel bad about yourself in order to boost their own low self esteem.

      New Life - I agree. I do follow some of these tips, but years of wearing heels has ruined my feet - not worth it! I am 4’11” and I own it! It’s part of who I am. 😎 Let’s face it: if I wear 4” heels, I’ll still be short! 😂 I love wearing cute outfits, but I just have to make them work with flats and that’s OK. Better than getting foot surgery!
