      I had forgotten the phrase/sentence in other words the method which my teacher taught the class, and was trying to find that in these videos, And it was "Write the common multiples once, and all the non common multiples (the remaining stuff) and multiply them" or something along the lines. Well it was not something that only my teach came up with, Most of the teachers here probably say this. but guess it is not the same everywhere.

    I’m so happy I found these explanations! I began this year homeschooling my 6th grader who also has a learning disability that public school just wasn’t taking into an account. She didn’t even know her multiplication tables. It’s been a process. But Khan Academy videos have been the BEST Route. Thanks so much for these amazingly explained videos! Not just this one! All of them!

    10=10,20,30,40,50,60,70,80,90,100
    5=5,10,15,20,25,30,35,40,45,50,
    LCM=10
    if you wanna find the LCM just use listing method

      Cornelio Velasco the listing method takes much longer as the numbers get bigger. That's why prime factorization is the proffered method

    I know I am much above the average age group of people who is watching this video, but I am reviewing this information because I am studying number theory and a lot of these basic things are crucial. I notice that for students like me who have been studying mathematics for a long time, people like me (not always, but usually), tend to forget the principle of how to do things, and instead are more so motivated by muscle memory and pattern repetition. For example, if you were to ask me to find the greatest common divisor (gcd) of 18 and 21, I would just say 3, because I am so used to it by now. But if you were to ask me why, I couldn't give you an answer.
    The same thing applies to other things in life too. For example, I can't be a grammar teacher because my English is too advanced to remember the basics. I just relearned two weeks ago when to use "a" or "an" before another word instead of just saying "Because I've done it for a long time" or "because it sounds right".

    I'm actually very good at math, algebra, geometry, etc however helping my kid with this listing to this video makes me feel like madea(tyler perry) when he/she said I can't do no algero?
