1. Notify your credit card company that you are relocating to Europe (or they freeze your card)
2. Wear like flannel type clothes and layer as the weather changes quickly.
3. If there is something you like to snack/binge eat bring it as you may not be able to find it again for awhile.
4. Graf/Vil is a good assignment location wise. Wurzburg, Bamberg, Nuremburg, Munich, mountains do something immediately in your first month or sooner. Do not lock yourself in the house.
5. Housing options sometimes are better further away from post as you may get more space. But then the distance to work. It is a trade off.
You rock girl! So happy to finally be here and your videos helped me out tremendously, will definitely be sharing to friends coming from Fort Lewis the future ❤️
Thank you! Means a lot!
PCSing to Graf in a year! Would you consider doing a video on traveling?? How to plan “vacations” or get-aways, how to travel cheap, must go to places, what type of transportation is best and why.
Hi Nathaly! Just discovered your channel. It's got a lot of info that my wife and I could have used during our transition to Graf 4 months ago. I started a CZcams channel myself but it's less helpful and more about travel. You have a solid channel! Subscribed
You got awesome videos man!
Thanks for the info....heading there in June!
No problem
Thanks for the video! 👍❤️
Thank you for watching! 😇
@@NathalyRaya 💘🌹💖💓
good video. talks fast and easy on the eyes.
We are moving there in April. We are so excited!!! Thanks for the info! :)
Congrats! Excited for you! :) :)
We’re moving there in June 🙌🏼 Congrats!
Allyja Perez omg same!! I’m moving there in June now too! Next month
Thank you soooooo much!
😇
I wish i could say i was pcsing back home;( Definitely miss germany enjoy your time there you will miss it i promise. Growing up every person I've met american or not still has a soft spot for germany. Love your channel brings me back home
RawHeights [Beats] I think people don‘t really miss Germany, they miss their youth, the easy going time when you are around 20 to 25yo. Sorry for my bad english.
@@shaclo1512 Definitely agree ! But i do miss my german beer and bakery
You must be right on that. Can't say how many people I met, that were once here, and truly miss it.
Yes! Thank you girl sure needed these tips! Our report date is September 20th. I feel stressed lol
lol. No problem! and glad it's getting closer!
Darion here from Florida. Awesome Nathaly on the video. I was stationed in Schweinfurt ,Germany and I actually broke my back in Graf. I go back to Germany at least twice a year and I will be back on a buddy trip in Sept 2019. However, there is a chance that my wife may get a teaching position in Graf . That would be AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow. So you definitely loved Germany. 😇 I can see myself visiting as well after I leave. Well good luck to her!! 🙌🏼✨✨
you're so beautiful !! thank you for the video!
Thanks for the video, I'll be PCSing to Germany with a newborn baby. Hopefully it will be easy!
Hope everything goes smooth!
What a co-wink-a-dink. Literally sitting in the airport PCSing to Germany lol
Let me know how everything goes!!
@@NathalyRaya will do chick-a-dee! 😋
We made it, all is well :D
Nice MWR program. English as a second language. That sounds interesting to me :)
Oh my god how am i JUST now finding this!my husband is stationednin vilseck and im about to come over with our first child!
Oh how exciting! It should be a little easier for you. Will he be picking you up in Ramstein? If he does, then you shouldn't have to go through all the waiting around when you arrive in Ramstein. You most likely just get your passport stamped, and boom, you're good to leave then and there.
@@NathalyRaya absolutley hes finishing the command sponsorship now. And im due in august so were trying to time it correctly
Hey girl I love your contact since I found out I was pcsing to Germany will be there in a week in a half sooo nervous !!! I was wondering if you know any threading places or good nail salon around or if you can remember… I will highly appreciate it :)
if you joined the vilseck/graf army wives page on Facebook you'll be able to get some good recommendations. You might be able to find some good home based business nearby. if you're not into that, and rather go to a salon, there's a few options in Weiden.
Girl you are like Xanax in CZcams channel 🤣 thank you soo much for this video and your pcs video
lol. Thanks.
I am so sad! We found out today that his orders got changed from Graf to Hohenfels! I was so excited and ready, lol.
Ugh! I hate when that happens. It's literally so disappointing. On a good note tho... you guys get to be closer to FRANCE, BELGIUM, and NETHERLANDS!!
Haven't watched the video yet, biggest question is what is the PT like?
Do you know any couples that went together without being married? My boyfriend is going and I'm planning on going with him, however, I'm not sure how exactly that works... any advice?
Unfortunately, if you’re not married then your moved isn’t payed for. Everything will be out of pocket for you. Also since the army won’t have you under their system. They won’t know about you so he is considered SINGLE to the army and is required to live in the barracks. He won’t be able to request to live anywhere else 😏 sucks but best thing would be to get married lol I hate that that’s the only way you’ll be able to come and get a house together. Unless you come (out of pocket) get a visa (to say longer then 60 or 90 days? Might be 90) job, and a home and he can visit every other day 🤷🏻♀️
I’m in hohenfels !!
How long did it take to adjust to the time difference between the started and Germany?
Honestly it took me a while more then my husband. It took him a few days rather then myself about two weeks.
Never understood why us troops have not to pay VAT.
What's the website to go to for the driving lesson course to get your driver's license in Germany?
it is JKO. The rest will pop up if you google that.
What do you mean by updating your I’d? Why would you have to update it mine is only a few months old do I still need to update?
They do it to update your info. So you can come in and out the base here. Our ids wouldn’t have expired for a while either.
We’re currently in ft bliss and have the opportunity go to to Germany, should we do it?! Do you honestly recommend taking the chance?!
We came from fort bliss and as much as I miss my family (gone back home twice already) I still love it here, and I’m glad we came. It’s an insane opportunity to travel around Europe. It’s only three years, and time just passes by so fast. Only 2 years and 4 months to go! Lol.
Nathaly Raya thank you so much for your input!! I’m just worried about delaying with deployments out there. But I just don’t see how we can pass this up!
Yess it was so fun when i went 6 years ago as a little kid
I'm at Bliss right now! In May 2021 we'll be going to Vilseck. And the baby I'm pregnant with will be literally just 2 maybe 3 months old. I'm a little stressed about that.
If I want to bring my cat and two dogs is there anyway to sneak the cat since she is my third animal, or are you with people immediately LOL? Or would it be smarter to leave my cat here and have my family send her to me once there? Or do you know if they let you choose off post housing from the start or do you have to try for on post first?
lol. Not sure, but yes, when you're coming in you're surrounded by a lot more military families. For housing, you do have the option. It doesn't start with just on post. You tell them you want off post, backyard etc. and they will offer you whatever is available.
If you haven't joined the grafenwoehr/vilseck army wives page on FB I really suggest you do. The pets questions have been asked plenty of times. I'm sure you can get those answered there :)
@@NathalyRaya great, thank you!
@@NathalyRaya what is the page called? I'm honestly stressing about this move. We're going to Vilseck in May.
We literally got here to graf like two weeks ago and I’m already bored out my mind lol do you like it here?
I love it! There is so much to do. Are you guys off base?
Nathaly Raya yesss on Netz! We wanted to live on post but they told us it was too backed up and i honestly didn’t wanna stay in the hotel we were at in vilseck, it was horrible lol
what did we say challange please new video
Uber doesn't exist in smal cities in Germany...
Uber doesn't exist in Germany at all
lol.
Hi so about housing, where the three story homes on base ?
None on base. That I know of? But majority of housing off base is 3 floors.
Nathaly Raya thanks for answering! And are they far from post? Just wondering because we have a german shepherd and three little ones.! I don’t think the stair well is for us. But I don’t want to be far from post I still want military housing..
Your gorgeous
is the police searching for you? have you stolen something? nice vlog ... common asnwers when somone speaks very fast,k like it :)
I didn't want to bore you all with my slow voice lol. Plus, it made this video a little shorter 😂
Please slow down speaking! This should not be a race and makes it hard to understand what you are saying.
