    Do you know you just taught me something, about soldering something long like that. I always was under the impression that you had to heat the whole piece that wants to get the solder to flow. But on this you’re showing that you heat the area around where you want to solder the flow. Can you do this technique when you have a heavier gauge silver and making a bracelet, to solder on the bezel? I love making heavier bracelets but it’s hard for me to get a basil cup to solder onto the heavy bracelet. It usually doesn’t solder and comes off. Or should I sweat solder it and use your technique you’re using on this ring.?
