I started carving because I had severe depression as a child, I've been doing it for six years now with increased trauma from the past, but carving helps me deal with it and gives me ways to heal from everything that has happened. it's such a nice hobby. Greetings from Bavaria🖤
Really happy to hear you found a mutual language with the wood, I also feel it helps me so much to be present and peaceful (: hope your journey with the wood will continue safely and with a lot of enjoyment (:
Hello Beautiful Soul ♥ I understand where you're coming from...I was just like that. You have to start to be Kind to Yourself! Be Kind and Love Yourself, that's the beginning of a Wonderful life! Bless You...Warm Hug from The Netherlands, Kim ♥
Thank you Kim for your kind words 🙏🏾☺️ I have a long journey ahead but I know loving myself is the base for a healthy journey, so thanks again for this warm message ♥️
Hey buddy. Incredible work! Love everything! That double edged arrow head bent knife I keep seeing, is there a proper name for that? I’m trying to buy one but honestly can’t find anything! Bent knife?
I have a shallow bent knife and a tip bent knife, both from north bay forge, maybe if you in their site you could get some more information 🤔 from what I know this type of knifes are used for carving totems and masks in North America, I really enjoy carving with them😁
I looked up North Bay Forge, and they're on a little island off shore from where I've lived my whole life. I might just see if I can go visit them. So wild that knowledge of their existence made its way all the way to Prague, and then from Prague back to me.
yes its quite random, to be honest i've been looking for these type of knifes for a while 3 years ago, and atlast I found them in a tool shop in germany, they looked quite good so I bought one and it was so nice to carve with, i came back later and got another one. but these style of tools is quite rare from what I found@@authenticwarriorradio2440
@@nadavartandwood That's wild. From the Salish Sea to Germany, to Prague, and back to the Salish Sea. I'm going to try to make my own, because their website says they're out of stock.
We all have a story but "the Sun shines today also". Thank you for sharing, keep creating, I love your videos. Love from Wales.
