Great car Jeff - my grandpa had the plymouth business coupe from that era. He sold sandwiches & donuts and such to area businesses back in the day. His was grey and not as nice as this one .Brings back memories. ! Thanks for sharing this beautiful Dodge.!
@@GlocknLoad1 Saw vid from 9 years ago about Butchs mounts. Was gonna comment on it . I am getting up at 3 am daily these days . Get a hold of me EARLY in the day .
@@catfishjenkem2226 I worked out in the yard for hours tonight. It was a lot cooler, but I was still sweating like crazy. The humidity has been relentless lately.
Reminds me of a 1946 Mercury I had a chance to buy for 1500.00 back in 89. It was in excellent condition but the old man who owned it had used a paintbrush and I think silver house roof paint on it cause the brush strokes were thick and everywhere. It was a sight to behold.
Always enjoying the tours. I was just on Hemmings this morning and saw they have a couple taxi sedans and a dune buggy. I used to love that cartoon on Saturdays. Anyway, keep on and God bless.
Beautiful body lines. This is the first time I have ever seen one of these. At least of what I can remember. It seems many beautiful pre war cars just went away shortly after the war. Maybe it's just me.
Good evening, thanks for the upload! This is a beautiful solid car! I like those side pinstripes and the awesome hood ornament! I really like that there is plenty of trunk room, and quite a beautiful color! Thanks again! 👍
Beautiful unmolested example of the Dodge business coupe. If the underside is as good as the body, what bargain at this price. Like you said, not many old Dodges left.
I remember my grandmother's brother my great uncle I guess had one and drove it clear up into the late 50's cause I remember it. My dad always called it a poormans Chrysler. Lol
You might want to check out Coldwarmotors new video on his buddies 1941 Mercury. it's almost a duplicate of this car. Really neat old cars! Thanks for sharing.
nothing like looking at nice old classics, you americans dont know how lucky you are they just keep on turning up, they are mostly gone here in uk with odd 1 or 2 being found
Thanks for posting! A really nice orginal survivor. At a quick glance the car looks like a Ford or Mercury. My dad had a '41 Plymouth business coupe. He told me he bought it new and it was black like the one in this photo. Before he joined the Marines in '44 he was a truant officer for Cincinnati public schools....i.imgur.com/kzF7ZHl.jpg
Long time no see, I am glad you are doing fine with this stupid pandemic. I love this car, I would leave it mostly as is, except I would have to replace the headliner and get rid of those moon disc. But it looks like it would be a great daily driver. I have not had a chance to watch your videos in almost 2 years so I got lots of new material to watch.
Nice example, I believe GM and Ford made business coupes as well. Jeff, could you do a video on that 95 Impala SS next to it? I've been looking at that car on there website for a while. Looks better in your video than the pics.
Perfect moonshine haulers, my grandfather souped up his 39 Mercury coupe and made lots of hauls while out running the cops. He was finally caught and arrested out back behind a store trading the store owner moonshine for sacks of sugar and spent 9 months in jail. But they had to catch him sitting still. 😉

Glad it brought back some good memories, thanks for taking a look Kevin!
So glad that there are so many classic cars saved .....Thank God for the cool front moving in ,sick of the heat .
I'm with you on that, getting real tired of the heat. I have a bunch of yard work to get done, so I hope it cools off quite a bit.
Garage beers and cigars are in order.

I've seen a few cars over the years that were brush painted. Use what you have I guess :) Thanks for watching, I appreciate it!
Nice dodge color just 🤟 great perfect for burt Reynolds moonshining thanks again for great videos jeff
It would have made a great moonshine car...maybe with a bit more power under the hood though.
It’s so cool that it’s gone all these years without being chop and swapped.
It really is amazing that it has remained mostly original. Thanks for taking a look!
Big cheers from down under!
Thanks for watching, I appreciate it!

I think I'll post a video of one of the Taxi's next. Thanks for watching, I appreciate it!
My dad has this exact car. It in fact does have running boards. He bought it when he was 15 in 1967, still has it today.
Bruh you gotta cherish this whip forever, thats amazing !
Love the styling on pre-war American coupes, wish I had an extra 13k laying around to buy this old girl.
They really do have great styling to them. Thanks for having a look James!
Hi Jeff,

LOL..yeah, I guess they are a bit more simple than a Chrysler. Thanks for taking a look, I appreciate it!
I was here yesterday. You didn't mention the smell. That made me second guess buying that car
Nice sweet ole ride!

It would be interesting to know the history of it. Thanks for watching Zig, I appreciate it!

I'll keep the Impala in mind. Thanks for watching my friend!
@@RamblinAround No problem, hope you continue the shed tours as well.
Nice car! Does it have a little dingy at the bottom of the front grille?
Not sure what is going on there, it does appear to be sticking out a bit.

That's awesome that your Grandpa used to haul shine. This Dodge would have made a great moonshine hauler, although a V8 would have been nice.
Yes: the green looks very nice, I wonder what business the first owner was in?
• Cheers from The Detroit & Mackinac Railway 🚂
I got me a four door I love it..
Slip a Red Ram Hemi in there for nice Rod.
That would be really cool.
American style and class for $13850? This car is being given away.
PS how hot is at your place
It has been really hot and humid lately. Supposed to be a bit cooler this week I think.
