Mannequin tree, DIY Mannequin Christmas

- These mannequin Christmas trees have become popular over the years. You’ll get step by step instructions on how to create your own. The video is slow enough you can create yours with me. This mannequin will not be fully decorate in the video but feel free to check out my social media to see fully decorated trees.
What you need:
Mannequin
6- 9ft Evergreen garland (more if you want a longer skirt)
Floral wire 9 or more
2- wreath frames, different sizes (20” & 24” used in video) 3 for a longer skirt
Patients, snack and your favorite drink 😊
Suggested:
Plug-in or battery operated lights
Ornaments and hooks
Fabric or large ribbon
Other decorations

This garland is so much better than the one I got that I was going to just loop around a bunch of wreath frames.
For some reason I didn’t know there were garlands with multiple points like the ones you used.
I can’t find any decent ones like this online but I hate the thought of having to wait till next Christmas because I plan to leave mine up all year and decorate for each season like I used to do with my old tree.
Would you please tell me what brand the garland is and where you got it?

Loved every minute of this video… thank you for sharing!!!! Thinking the whole time about surprising my daughter with one of these Mannequin Trees (she’s a “girly” girl) my hesitation is storage…
Also, if I decided to make one would bending all the wires evenly prior to installing them to waist and frames help me obtain even spacing and avoid a lopsided skirt (I could see that easily happening lol)…?
Yes you should surprise her she’ll love it especially if she’s a girly, girl😊 yes if you bend them beforehand it will keep the frames even but remember you’re attaching in an angle as you go down you may still have that a little. If you notice it a lot attach the new evergreen a little tighter to the previous one. I don’t think it’s gonna be a problem at all 😊 as far as storage you can wrap it in plastic to help protect it. I think it may fit in one of those wardrobe boxes depending on how full your skirt is. Hope this help and thank you

Hi. You’re welcome and yes it’s getting hard to get that garland. If you can’t find it at hobby lobby I would try Michaels. I don’t really like their less expensive garland but they have another one with mixed pines. I’ve also bought some from menards that’s pretty good

How much you charge for a plan one no decoration
So if you want to go to the floor How many wire wreath do you need
I would do at least 3. Maybe a 14” 18 and 24. If you can find a 36” that would give it a great flare

@@LeeAnn20008 when you start you’re attaching it to the wire you place around the mannequin after that you’re pretty much attaching each piece to each other
