- Sky News host James Morrow has branded the joint CNN interview with Kamala Harris and Tim Walz as a “symphony of platitudes”.
In her first sit-down interview after formally accepting the nomination at the party's convention last week, the Vice President was grilled on a number of issues such as the American economy, the Israel-Gaza conflict and her opponent Donald Trump.
Mr Morrow sat down with political journalist John Fund to discuss the CNN interview and US election polling.

The full CNN interview is 18 minutes, between 3 people. Assuming Harris spoke 50% of the time, that’s 9 minutes. It’s safe to say 1/3rd of the 9 minutes is a word salad. So let’s say 6 minutes is of Harris solidly speaking. That’s 360 seconds of Harris doing an interview since becoming the presidential nominee. That averages to 1 second per day for one year.
