B6 & B7 models (B7 is the later model A4 a facelift of the B6 and the interiors are the same except cabriolet models these have differences)
⚡ Top Tip
1. remove door - take snips and use a light hammer to tap out the hinge pivot pins x2 one for each hinge - remove plastic dowel pivot pin securing glove box lid damper remove pin only. then remove the glove box lid. ⚡you may want to use some penetrating oil to the pins to aid removal
2. To remove the fridge leave the door to the fridge on - undo 3x torx 10 screws from underneath the glove box they're just inside where the glove box lid pivots at the front of the glove box underneath - then as in the video find the 2x tabs on top of the glove box they're both partially hideen but are part of the fridge door black surround and sit either end of this be careful not to break these n
but a firm push down with a flat faced screw driver whilst gently pulling the fridge door (lid down if course) will aid the fridge out
3. The fridge door lid has tabs top, bottom, side to side and inside the lower part of the fridge itself take your time and care as this can be a frushtrating task as you push one tab free the top one clicks back in however take your time and you'll get there, some plastic trim tools will help tremendously here and will avoid scrathing up the fridge surface, remember these are rare parts and hard to come by paitience here will pay dividends
⚡ The air pipe from the fridge to the air conditioning system - attach to the air conditioning system first then install the glove box making sure the end of the pipe is sitting inside the fridge ready to have the screw on vent screwed on in an clockwise direction until firm install the air pipe vent screw once the glove box is fully installed
