- I'm going to need a BIGGER garage! Riding the Moto Guzzi V7 in California! Moto Guzzi America invited me out to Palm Springs California to ride their brand new version of the V7 motorcycle. The company is celebrating 100 years and the V7 is celebrating half a century! This motorcycle fit me life a glove. Perfect style, lightweight and more power than the previous model. Coming in at just under 500lbs, I had the easiest time maneuvering around, whipping through corners, and getting up to speed quick! The timeless style had me CONSTANTLY looking back, taking photos, and feeling like an absolute stunner while riding. In this video I rode the V7 Special which had the retro analog guages, Traditional round headlight, custom paint and a grab rail on the back. All in all, a beautiful motorcycle now built with more power for any rider looking to add class, uniqueness and style to their lineup.

What do you think of Moto Guzzi's re-vamped V7? I genuinely fell in love with this bike! effortlessly beautiful and functional!
That bike looks aesthetically hideous, however, you seemed super comfortable. You like it, I love it!
It's gorgeous!
@@warmstr44 WHAT?! Did you have your eyes open when you acquired that opinion?? 🤣🤣 hey man. You like what you like I suppose! Lol!
I can dig it! definitely looks like a fun bike to ride as well ... glad you got to experience riding in California! Love palm springs/desert it's super chill and the home of desert rock ...
I've never ridden one either, but I have always loved the styling and the longitudinal engine.
I’ve had a V7 special since 2016 and I haven’t found more joy in 2 wheels since. I smile all the way to work everyday
I just bought a V7 Carbon 2018 for my wife, it is an INCREDIBLE bike, super nimble, looks retro with all the modern tech... Moto Guzzi is reliable and price is amazing, I’m using it as a daily bike to go to my office. This is one of those bikes you want to keep forever. She really loves her Guzzi 🏍
Couldn't agree more!
“I’m using it as my daily bike”, bought it for who?
@@jimporter haha 😊
Riding my 3rd Guzzi (since 1982). As a former m/c dealer I've ridden most brands, including most European, and all American and Japanese brands. Love my Moro Guzzi!
"I can't believe this is my life right now." Jess, you are likely too young to remember Jane Pauley. When I was your age, she was a local news reporter on an Indianapolis TV station.. and within a couple years was hosting the Today show and other NBC big time programs. She said of her fame, in classic, understated Hoosier wisdom, referring to her Nielson ratings.. "When the numbers are good, they won't last. When the numbers are bad, you won't last." Ultimately she semi-retired after having twins, but her honest view toward celebrity and fame is a good life lesson to all of us in the realities of life. But enjoy what you're doing now!
She's great on CBS Sunday Morning
I still do 6000 km a year with my V7 700.... from 1967. Every ride, still is a sensation - though another kind than the one that I've seen in this video. I 'm on the road with an old, dressed to kill - charming warhorse... it has become a beautiful juvenile prairie pony. Moto Guzzi has always gone for the riders’ comfort and as a lady, you've demonstrated exactly that. Next time you step on a plane..... go to Italy, go to Mandello del Lario and breath the air of tradition and the passion for motorcycling. Greetings from the old continent. Regards from Belgium.
Makes me wanna go back out to Palm Springs!!
This was my first time!
Shadetree, hop on your Bangkok Bagger and do eeeeet!

Wait! You suffer from vertigo symptoms as well? Then, why are you using that weirdness (360*) camera angle? It’s making me woozy. lol 🥴🤢
It makes me happy to see you also drive a manual sports car, kudos to you for that! Keep the stick shift alive!
If the manufacturers have their way, the standard transmission will soon be a thing of the past.😢😢😢
Two years ago we had a 2014 V7 Stone roll into our shop slated for tear-down for parts. As I looked at it, it looked back at me. Hmmm. I checked it over pretty thoroughly and decided I might benefit from a therapy test ride, by the time I came back I parked it off to the side to weigh the options. It's been our official shop bike ever since, I'll tear it down when it's dead! Such a great performer for under 50 HP, it may not be a speed demon but that doesn't interest me as much as the upright seating, easy handling and peppy performance. The torque of that V-Twin is a unique experience. Definitely a machine that gives you feedback and very easy and fun to ride. Very aesthetically appealing and turns heads wherever we take it, the comments we have heard from observers are typically how cool it looks. Get rid of something or get a bigger garage. The ride you pick most often will help with that decision.
Be very careful Moto Guzzi’s are very addictive!
Very true
Yes they should have a warning on the tank?, I only had to sit of one at a presentation evening (over 40 years ago) and I was hooked.
Can we talk about the fact that toward the end of winter you were saying you were losing motivation and confidence in your videos and now this girls out here LIKE A Q U E E N
Like bravo Jess! Keep up the awesome work ! It speaks for itself!
Feels like a motorcycle renaissance coming on so many manufacturers coming out with excellent new bikes
Wow! Watching and typing this at the same time, How Cool , Shout out to Moto Guzzi for what looked like a wonderful time. What a beautiful bike , those have always been so classic looking and seem to fit so many people. I loved cruising to Palm Springs in the mid 80's on my then new KZ1100 when i was stationed at San Bernadino , thanks for sharing this with us , Great video, thanks so much!
Thanks for bringing us along Jess x
You are a Genuine Person through & through. You deserve these opportunities and you give great reviews! Keep it up for the motorcycle community
Love Guzzi ❤️ I have the previous gen v7. If I upgrade, I think I’ll consider the V85TT for an even more upright and tall bike :)
Larry Chen is an absolute master action photographer. How freaking sweet ! What an amazing little adventure this must have been . I’ve driven in California but not had the chance to ride there yet. So I am both a little jealous and very happy for you. I hope you get to do more of these in the future.
I had a moto guzzi v7 for 4 years. I put 30,000 miles on it and it never let me down. Easy maintenance, unique, and dependable. I will definitely have one again in the future!!
You won't need a bigger garage girl...you'll need a warehouse for all these amazing new bikes you find along the way. Gotta love a flickable bike! 😃👍
If you know someone who can help me build it.... YES! hahaha!
Your editing and content is getting really professional and Your life style is going up along with it, another great vlog thanks
Wheels,
My neighbor has two Guzzis. He is a former Moto GP rider at the "semi-pro" level. And I need to say a super guy. I have admired his big Guzzi for years. Now you went and got my juices flowing for one again.
Carpe diem deluxe
First Florida. than riding the Indian Chief in the desert and now on a Moto Guzzi in
California . You must be living on a cloud.
It's great to see you enjoy riding in the mountains so much. For me nothing beats
riding in the Swiss alps.
Mr. " His Two/Four Wheels " must love you very much . Eating dinner alone
and sleeping n that big empty bed. He is a gem

Those were some awesome shots. As a fellow photography enthusiast, they were so well done! Kudos to you for being able to attend such amazing opportunities!
Wow, the Guzzi looks super sweet with you riding it, Jess ❤️🌹❤️ Thanks for the pillion seat, again. I love the work Larry Chen did of you - Spectacular!!! You must be doing a LOT of things right with all these invites for test riding weekends (keep up the awesome work!).
Stay safe, stay well, keep the shiny side up, n' I'll see you in the next video. Cheers!
That 360 cam is awesome! Video is awesome! Thanks for sharing and welcome to riding in Cali!
Currently own a 1989 Moto Guzzi Mille GT 1000 cc that I have had for 20 years. Once took me 120 miles on one cylinder at highway speed when one spark plug wire crapped out on a Sunday morning with no shops open. At almost 70 years old it has gotten too heavy to maneuver in and out of situations. Purchased a 2013 Moto Guzzi V7 Stone at more than 100 pounds less wet weight. Absolutely love it. Will stay with Moto Guzzi for the rest of my riding life. I have owned BMW, Laverda, Ducati, Moto Morini, Triumph, BSA, Zundapp, Indian, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Cagiva and loved them all for different reasons, but the fact that I can physically handle the weight of a bike that will cruise (illegally) at 85-90 mph for as long as I need, looks good, is reliable and affordable and unique, why shop anywhere else?- -Mike Battle
I had a 1998 V11 that was one of the best bikes I ever owned.
That’s where my little brother died on his motorcycle. Seeing your video, I now understand why he loved riding there. I’ve never ridden a MG.
I am terribly sorry to hear that. These roads were definitely at the top of my comfort zone.
Look at you, see dreams do come true. Great review and so happy for you getting all these new experiences! Keep the content coming.
Man , that 360 footage is wild and trippy
"I did see a three-digit number but we won't talk about that", bad-assed!
Three digits.... 8 5 0 c c 🤣
So it's a fast bike right???? 😉
Love seeing your video notifications. Love how your shooting and editing has evolved so much in such a short time! I can't wait to start traveling a bit and putting more effort into my own teeny tiny new channel. Thanks for inspiring us to get out there, have fun, and try the stuffs!
Always learning that’s for sure!
@@HerTwoWheels Okay - How in the world did you do that "orbiting scan" bit? It is wonderful (along with the rest of the video). I purchased a V7 Special a month ago and ran across your video. Overall, the video is definitely a treat (but I like my Blu Formale better). But you somehow got the camera to do a "horseshoe scan" from around five feet distant from you while you were riding the bike. That is, the camera started its movement at about 270 degrees (in front of your left shoulder), and then moved counter-clockwise around the bike over to your right shoulder. And then it moved back to dead astern of the bike. I could detect no shadow from a boom (like there might have been a trailing car), and I doubt a drone could be flown that steadily. I've sent your video link to several people and they are as flummoxed as I am. How does one do that? Thanks for any help answering it. And thanks again for the excellent video.
Hi there, been driving motorcycle for more than 40 years. My first love concerning motorbikes was a Suzuki 380GT. But this dream blew up, since I first heard (and drove) a Moto Guzzi 750 S3 that a motorbike friend of mine gave to me for a test. Since then i had several Moto Guzzis, 850 Le Mans, V850 GT (1973 Model, a bit like the Guzzi California in the movie Harold and Maude), V65 NTX, California 1100 with Sidecar. (plus there are two yamahas and one very special Vespa 200E Scooter) ok, my garages are spacy. Still driving them a lot. Keep beeing happy and stay save! Greetings from Germany.
Good times as always! Thanks✌🇺🇲
I rode a Guzzi a few years back, and the best feature of the bike was the transmission. It shifted like butta!
Great video again, love these events you go too 🤟
Great looking bike. Great video work. I live in Palm Springs I ride that all the time thanks again.
Hey Jess, thanks for bring attention to the brand. I've had a '18 V7iii Carbon Dark and a '20 V7iii Stone S. They are such a great bike. It's like a Bonneville and a Harley had a child.
I have exactly the same model as the grey v7 special that you rode. Like you, I find it incredibly comfortable, though I agree that bigger riders will possibly. it agree.
It is also amazingly practical: 250 mile tank range, shaft drive, ABS and traction control, great low down torque, plenty of power for the real world, corners like a dream and easy to manhandle. It looks beautifully elegant in a curvaceously understated way, in world of bug-eyed headlights and excess. But most of all it always puts a smile on my face when I ride it, especially on back roads.
Good to see Guzzi waking up to the world of CZcams.
Beautiful video! I'm very Happy to know your passion for Moto Guzzi, I'm always had this bikes in my life. Actually I have two bikes: 1952 Falcone sport and 2002 V11 Le Mans in perfect conditions. See you soon, greetings from Italy! Ciao!!! Paolo.
Another great video … keep up the fantastic work !
Nice ride along Jess. Thanks for the awesome photography. The 3D camera is a nice touch.
Shoutout to Larry Chen on the photos, smashing it as always
That is one nice looking bike. Though I'm getting a bit old to be riding without a windshield on a cruiser! Thanks for sharing your experience and congratulations on being so well rewarded for all your hard work.
Excellent video.I enjoyed that a lot. Thanks for taking the time.
Wow jess!! that is so cool and beautiful photos too. 👍👍😎
That was great beautiful scenery thanks for taking us on the ride enjoyed it looks like a very nice bike to ride hope you had a greasy trip take care
Brilliant! Thanks for taking us along for the fun 🏍
Yo Jess, I knew you were gonna love this Motorsickle. I have always enjoyed looking at a Moto Guzzi. They are a Kool to the eye Motorsickle. There is always Room in the garage for one more Motorsickle. Keep the Shiny Side Up.
Until your video, I’ve only seen these bikes in motorcycle books. Looks like a well built bike. Once again love the camera, really adds a lot of thrill to your riding. Awesome scenery!
Awesome video and awesome content can’t wait for the next video Thanks
WOW how Perfect was that..... those roads and that Guzzi... lucky you !!! 😊👍👏😎
Awesome to see you ride a Guzzi for the first time and enjoy it! I know that feeling. And as much as I love being "unique" in the sense of there's very few of us out there, I really do hope the new upgrades draw more riders to Moto Guzzi brand. My 2019 V7 Blue Night Pack is my first bike ever and has been a blast! Definitely a bike I don't ever want to get ride of. But these new power specs do have me wanting to upgrade 🤔 Lol
I don't think I've heard of them before but nice. definately gonna check them out
Moto Guzzi are like those things that you really want everyone to know and buy because they are so great, but you also don’t want anyone to know about because you love to have the rare bike all to yourself and enjoy without seeing 20+ on the road each time you go out
Definite, injoy the styling of the bike.
Very cool 😎 again thank you for taking us along that was awsome 😊
I've lusted after a V7 for years and it's getting even harder to resist since they dropped the 850 into it! But I really want a Indian chief dark horse too! Great vid once again 👍
I had a close friend back in the mid-eighties who owned a Moto Guzzi and even put a sidecar on from time to time. Had a blast taking trips with him. We Italians are big into performance and handling whether it be cars or bikes. Unfortunately this 6'6" Italian will never fit that bike, but I am glad that you norms can appreciate Italian refinement. Nice ride and video, Jess!
O snap chilling with Larry chen.he seems like such a chill dude and what awesome stickers he has.haha
Ahhh I'm so excited for you! Its awesome seeing you travel and trying out other bikes, I can tell your enjoying life! I love the pictures they are getting of you....I feel like pretty soon some of those shots from here and Indian going to be plastered all over TV and in magazines! Great Video. Much Love!
That’s sick that Moto Guzzi got Larry Chen to shoot for them. 100% my favorite photographer running.
He’s amazing! I was a bit starstruck 😅
Yes the Special would be my choice. Love spokes. I didn't know there was a color choice 😎
Dude was so looking forward to this bike can't believe u already got ahold of one
That is a gorgeous ride. The photo was really cool too with the bendy road. Lucky you as I’m stuck riding on 270 in Columbus on my MT07 😂
Great view out the plane ✈️ luvin the look of the Moto Guzzi with the cylinders out the side and twin chrome dials etc. Always been one of my fav looking bikes. Great you took the opportunity to ride it. How nice is riding through the plan trees and round the mountain twisty roads in 3D 👍 Cool rear view. Yep I'd like one of those in my garage. Gees the cameras in the van were really big. Great bike shots 📸 around the roads.
Awesome video and WOW! That scenery. That would have been a beautiful ride.
At this pace. 200k subscribers are just around the corner. Picking up some heat. Amazed here!😎
I enjoyed this video. I learned about Moto Guzzi. great shots too!
Like your style, first things first, hit the bar! Moto Guzzle! 😂👍🏽
Great vid, thanks for the that. I put a deposit down on one at the beginning of january. Should have it in about 2 weeks, according to my dealership here in Denver CO. Loved seeing Larry in the video, been following him for some time. Thanks again for a great vid.
Thanks for your review Jess! Looks like a great bike!
You are the real deal Jess. I am really impressed by your ambition and always adding to your knowledge of motorcycles and video editing. I also appreciate how humble and honest you are with the mental part of riding. Not to mention, you have now visited some of my favorite places in AZ and CA. Next time spend some time on the PCH or NorCal from San Francisco to Oregon on Hwy 1. Keep up the good work and inspiration.
I remember seeing Moto guzzy in magazines back in the 70’s. I thought they didn’t exist any longer until a few years ago saw a used one at a dealer.
That new camera is tripping me out!!
Ah Jess, you've did it again. I have ridden those very roads. Talk about memories I'm enjoying riding with you and listening to all you say and do. Your genuine sincerity is so refreshing to hear. Keep up that attitude cause is reflects in your writing. As to the Moto-guzzi now that's a bike that you have just created an interest in. Being 5' and it's lightweight gets me thinking. 850cc is right on for this Northern Cal roads. Sounds like a bike that I want to go ride. I'll find a dealer and see what happens. Have an enjoyable ride back.
Great video. Crossed the US on a V7 Sport 1975 in 1999. 6000 Miles in four weeks. Wonderful bike. 20 years older I bought myself a California II 1985 a couple of weeks ago. Cheers from Sweden.
cool vid, sure are getting experience with other makes! congrats
We have some amazing rides here in southern California. Sometimes you have to drive through 50 miles of concrete jungle to get to them but the reward is so worth it.
Glad to see the V7 getting some love! Such beautiful bikes and very easy to ride. The scenery couldn't get much better!
I truly enjoy how you are getting to try a variety of bikes, Jess. So awesome! 👏
I'm Jealous Jess going to beautiful locations and test riding new Bikes you are definitely living your best life. Good for you I'm happy for you. Great video as usual.
Jesd you really make the guzzi look great. Thanks for taking us along on these rides.
Hi Jess, I've always been a big Guzzi (Goot-zee, a bit like Peet-zah) fan and I'm glad you had the chance to try one out. I was disappointed you review didn't mention more details, like cross-frame vee twin, easy access to heads/valves for servicing, pushrod operated valves, shaft drive, etc. Still, can't have it all my own way. I'll have one please. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe and keep up the good work. :)
Wow absolutely love this vlog! Another great bike, weather and location. I think the 360 stuff is great for capturing the surrounding environment but the quality so different when using the GoPro or normal front viewing camera. Tempted to test ride this Moto Guzzi now, thanks Jess... ;)
That looked like soooo much fun!!! Wish I could have met you there!!! It’s only an hour from me on the 10 freeway!! Anyway, looks like a great bike as far as looks and handling!! Thanks for taking us along!!!
I have never ridden a Motoguzzi but I have heard very good things . I really like the way they look. And prices seem quite reasonable
The only sticking point is there arent any dealers in my area.
nice video, well done Jess , love that you tried a Guzzi , as myself own a Guzzi California Vintage such a lovely bike
Wow what beautiful bikes and a wonderful place to ride. I rode in that area back in 2006 - gorgeous scenery as is most of California!
Wow, this is so awesome the terrain is perfect for a test ride.....that hotel is bangin'.
Those Moto Guzzis are great. I got a V9 Roamer after chewing on the idea for a year. The look is irresistible. I could go on... I like what they are doing with the bigger engines in the V7, it seems like a really awesome power plant. What fun you must have had, thanks for sharing.
Your editing continues to improve. Excellent work.
Now that I’ve been riding for a few years now, I’m excited to test out other bikes. At first I only wanted to ride mine but now I want to ride them alllll! This bike looks fun! 💕
Did my cbt today after year's away from bike's, no better feeling than riding!
So freaking awesome 💕
Nice video of that motorcycle. It helps sell when others not heard or seen them and you and others test them for CZcams channel. That's so cool. It's a nice bike and price is good too, especially for that size new.
Greetings from Oregon sis I've ridden that road a couple times, you continue to produce high quality content for us everyday riders this is why your invitations keep coming the motorcycle industry is realizing the importance of advertising using everyday riders not celebrities one day harley will figure it out guzzis are freaking awesome
Back in the 80's, these bikes were big bulky heavy machines, as I found out when one fell over and split three of my toes! Love the look of this new fleet though. Great video.
Smart move, Jesse, you always wanna befriend the photographer at these events. : )
I bought a used 2017 Moto Guzzi V7iii Special two years ago... at the time I was thinking I should have a modern bike in my garage (not just vintage bikes). I liked the Guzzi, but I didn't fall in love with that bike they way I have with my vintage bikes. The plan was to get the Guzzi and sell one of my two vintage bikes to make room for it. I couldn't bring myself to sell either of my other bikes, so I sold the Guzzi. I got to enjoy it for one summer. though.
That is amazing that you got this opportunity and the Indian ride. Also congrats on 100k Subscribers! Happy to see a fellow Buckeye killin it!
