- Sharing my review on the latest car to my garage. The un beatable Range Rover L322 TDV8. The most versatile car in the world? lets find out! I've got a lot of cool plans for this car..
Hey L322 is awesome thanks for this video
Thanks for watching! 👍
Have mine from new 2002 ,230k on the clock all done by me , on my 3rd gearbox 😅, use the car everyday and I think that is the secret to its longevity, I will never sell it why would I after it being in my family for 21 years ❤❤❤❤
Absolutely amazing. So very true! That’s great to hear 😃👍
The L322 is peak RR for me. Done 138k miles in mine, over 100k with me. It's a keeper. Just look after it, including rust proofing.
Most definitely! My next job is rust proofing
Thanks for the video! Best car. I will never let her go. Daily driver and everyday in love again. I am quite jealous about the Overfinch package! I did a remap a few years ago, better performance (296hp) and better fuel economy. Cheers from Switzerland.
Thanks so much ! I was looking at a remap.. and possibly deleting the egr valves too. Sounds interesting!
@@Nuecarautomotive yes egr delete, but only with a professional remap. Had my first delete made without a proper remap, the car (as well a L322 3.6) didn't like it and ended up as a parts dispenser.
I believe the ignition lock is that side as an anti-carjacking measure.
I,
i'm on my 8th Range Rover. It's a 2011 Vogue SE 4.4 with the 8 speed gearbox in the late Queen's Galway green.Unashamed luxury , sublime comfort and at 40+mpg , It's a definitely a keeper. It had 112 000 miles on the clock when I bought it just over a year ago, and apart from the full gearbox flush.(my choice as I don't believe in sealed for life) it has been 100% trouble and cost free. I've removed the sill covers to gain access and cleared the usual clumps of mug and used Lanoguard as a rust preventer although no signs of rust.Without doubt the best car ever made, and outstanding value.
FYI the analog clock is actually for the rear passengers. Driver can set digital clock on instrument panel.
I was excited as a little child when we set the digital clock and then saw the analogue automatically whiz around to the same time!
I was actually wondering how the analogue clock changed! Its like magic! haha
Had my 2011 4.4 tdv8 since 2018. It’s going nowhere. Preventative maintenance is key as you point out.
Wouldn’t mind trying the 4.4.. bet she’s a beast 👍
Great vid. Subbed
I have the 2010 v8 5.0 sc and it's worth every penny 💪
Absolute beast!! 👍😎
Ahhhhh… a video of riding freestyle on a skate park and Land Rovers. My type of content. 🤘🏼😎
Cheers from a Yank in Suffolk. 🇺🇸🏴
Btw… purchase a Nanocom or a GAP IID diagnostic tool. You’ll thank me later.
Haha many thanks! The first thing I bought was diagnostics ! Cheers ! All the best
Nice grill 👌 great video mate 👍
Thanks very much! More to come! 👍
I am also a huge JLR fan having driven all models of the brand except the Jaguar cars. I am on my fourth JLR product Freelander, Discovery Sport, E Pace and currently i-Pace HSE on 22" rims Air Suspension and Performance seats just a mega car.
Sounds awesome! Thanks so much for sharing! I’ve had a freelander and actually quite like it! Relatively simple and cheap to run. But not much beats a range 😃
@@Nuecarautomotive I would have to disagree on that after driving both the RR Vouge and new Defender off road at Land Rover Experience Scotland in deep snow the Defender is the one to beat but I did like the full blooded RR prior to that day but it is now not my No. 1 .
I had a 2008 , I wish I kept it ,I’ll get another one sometime,thanks
Good to hear! Cheers!
Very tempted by one of these. 2007 has come up near me. 95k miles. Exceptional service history - but I'm still very reluctant. "what if it shits the bed".... At €16k it's not exactly cheap either
That does seem pretty steep.. have the turbos been done? They aren’t as problematic as you would think.. I invested in a diagnostic scanner as soon as I bought mine.
@@Nuecarautomotivedon't think the turbos were done, but the gearbox was serviced so that would be ok
Do it.. buy the car you love, then fix it when it breaks 😃
Go and get it , they’re great 👍🏴🙏
Very tempting, especially the large square load area and visibility. Alas, IIRC, not ULEZ compliant.
That’s the only downside.. ULEZ
@@Nuecarautomotive I think some petrol variants are ok. But the mileage…ouch.
Yes I never understand that a 5.0 supercharged is fine for ulez but the 3.6 tdv8 is a no go.. quite bizarre!
@@Nuecarautomotive Perhaps it is ULEZ being about particulates, NOx, CO, not just CO2. A broader metric.
What roof bars are they please? Thanks
They are from ebay.. around the £100 mark. It’s hard to find decently priced racks for these L322’s, but these are great. Mount to the fixing points on the roof. 10 minute install!
38 mpg, i have one, I don't think so!!
I’m rather surprised to hear 38 mpg from a 3.6, 6 speed, I could get 33 from the 8 speed driving very carefully and this is replicated with my L405 which is lighter; I’m not saying you’re wrong, I’m just surprised.
We saw it on a 2 hour run. I was surprised to say the least. Driving carefully and at around 65mph cruising.
I can hear things going wrong from here,,Any i have owned have ended up money pits
Thanks for your feedback. I’m sorry you had trouble with yours. All the best.
