@@olivery.6249 Actually it gives because when you are 6ft or above sometimes it's gets very difficult to bend down and there is always a chance of jerk in lower back. And the change get more severe when you have to bend urgently as minor of secs in your sides or in whatever direction to show your reflexes in which you are going to fall down once you throw the ball.

Guptil's throw to get out MSD in the semis, Jadeja's throw to get out of Smith in the test series are so stunning that most throws in this list... Those are one stump hit from a very long distance with very little time to react.
Please there's no need to make everything about India. There better runouts in this video. Ofcourse Guptil s and Jadeja s were good runouts. But telling them better than the ones that are in this video is reaching too far.

Wow..mad respect for cricket fellas..I like baseball and these videos also started to pop up and seeing those accurate throws and fielding skills is unbelievable..way harder plays to make in cricket(in my opinion)..
Most successful cricket teams have had qualified baseball coaches in their fielding operations.

Bob Simpson Player / captain / coach in the 60's and 70's was first to introduce the relay outfield throw. Chappels / Richardsons are strong baseball families. Borders, virtually ALL of Bradman's Invincibles 1948. Look up Neil Harvey and his brothers / family still playing today.
Not only fielding but if you know anything about baseball you would know many of the bowling grips used today are straight out of baseball coaching. Knuckle ball, sliders, circle change (of pace) to name some. And now even some of Young's influence is seen in batting...Brook for example.
So do your homework before calling out others who have very strong background knowledge in both sports.
p.s. the great Victor Trumper, from around 1915, who has a large stand named after him at the SCG was a baseball player for Paddington BC and he advised a promising schoolboy criceter to play baseball off season and learn to do what you see in above video.

Disappointed not to find Bavuma's mid-air throw to catch Warner inch short of the crease. That test series between Aus-Rsa was series of small margins and that run-out was one of the key moments of that series.

It's like a 360 degrees version of baseball.
Very dangerous game, test cricket is 70% mind 30% skill, alot of us cricket loving Australians like baseball lovers grew up playing the game and some of us did this for fun in the back yard, practice makes perfect, during summer it's a cricket ball in your hand and during winter an AFL or NRL football in your hand, we as a whole are good sports people, even some of the things I've done would freak you out and I like many never made it, it's like it's normal, watch AFL you'll like it.
