here in 2023 catchingup with everything I've missed not finding out JCW earlier (I've been on and off into kdramas for >10years).
I find out I actually first met him in Hero, which I watched for the ML (coincidentally was the first k-actor who made me want to watch a whole filmography. JCW is the 3rd). And after watching Iljimae I also started Warrior Baek Dong Soo but I think I didn't make past the first few ep before timeskip to adult actors... it must not have been fate for me to meet him yet!
And then years later, I followed recommendations in viki comments to watch Healer. By ep 4 I was already mindblown by the richness, versatility and nuance of JCW's acting (my appreciation for his looks came after falling in love with his acting XD). Now I've been watching everything I can get my hands on. I'm on Empress Ki now!
my current faves are Healer, Lovestruck in the City, Suspicious Partner and special mention to Fabicated City because, nevermind the action parts, there's really some top-level gut-wrenching acting there.
JCW acts with his eyes, his face, his whole body, and across so many roles and genres. He's really a rare gem! He seems such a nice, down-to-earth person too
Every his drama is so cool. He has a great acting, beautiful face, good manners, his smile 😍
But a lot of fans like him just for his face, but he is actually amazing actor.

Just watching healer, i can already tell how versatile of an actor he is. Really awesome plus he's got the looks man lmaoo! Love him! He's now added to my top korean actors which only consists of three btw lol he's really awesome. Cant wait for the next episodes of healer. I hope after healer i can watch him again in a similar drama or perhaps a different one, but id definitely like an action one :)
