You forgot Edson Alvarez he's been solid in mid/def and an undisputed starter for Erik ten Hag.
If we’re taking Liverpool and mancity as examples than let’s stick to liverpools. They accomplished nearly the same if not more than city but at a fraction of the price. Rice is an excellent choice but his price tag is absurd same with Kane. Anthony, gravenberch, nkunku, to name a few of the options. They need to optimize their capital and focus on not blowing everything on one single transfer.
Surprised you didn't mention Edson Alvarez, he's been a key player for Erik Hen Tag. Currently playing in the midfield he's really good and if I remember correctly was one of the best in champions league
He’s like the only Ajax player that isnt your typical Ajax player. He is a good player, but he’s solely used as a defensive player and to cover distances and break counter attacks. He’s good in intercepting the ball, tall and strong guy. On the ball however he’s not the best. Just simple, mainly sidepasses. He’s there for the balance. I think Utd need a ball caryer at cdm and I think Frenkie de Jong would be the perfect player

Only: Antony, Martinez, Gravenberg, and Mazroui are actual Ten Hag players that can play according to his vision. Harry Kane for instance does absolutely not fit in his profile as a striker.

Only when other players were injured or got to the point when their condition got depleted (for instance; Schøne could only play for approximately 70 minutes per game) only then Donny got playtime. The time that he did got to play was very very good obviously.

1.) Pau Torres (inexpensive deal, fantastic athlete, good with the ball at his feet)
2.) Aurelian Tchoumeni (world class potential, dynamic player, Athletic player)
3.) Darwin Nunez (Young with high potential, good athlete, out and out number 9)
4.) Antony (player with flair, great ability, high potential, very dynamic)
5.) Boubacar Kamara (not mentioned on the list, but a free contract and good potential)
6.) Noussair Mazraoui (dynamic RB with limited risk... Free Transfer)
Please stay away from options such as Kane, Phillips, and Rice... we have bought too many players from the British Isles, and this has not made us a great team!

Add to that Sancho, Rashford, De Gea, Shaw, Dean Henderson, Mejbri, and you have the foundations for a great side.

The problem with United is that we splash cash on expensive big ego players that in the end aren't enough to cover big gaps in the team. What they should be doing is making smart buys of younger/experienced players who can be developed and engraved into Ten Hag's system.

That's not a winning strategy. Not only is it unsustainable, but the day Ronaldo doesn't perform up to the mark, the whole team is pulled down. Erik Ten Hag should surround Ronaldo with players who have excellent vision, passing, and shooting abilities. Ronaldo's 37 and he can't run the show forever. Ten Hag needs to buy players that can help out Ronaldo.
