@@Bloom1nq Part of me feels like that Sonic does love Amy but he just want’s to wait until she matures a bit cause all the times she has been chasing him around and forcing him to marry her is too much for him to take
Plus He feels like if they do get married, he feels like his and Amy’s marriage life is gonna be like Goku and Chi Chi’s where she would stop Sonic from going on his adventures and defeating all sorts of villains that might take over/destroy the world and more worried about him getting a job and making him into something that’s fits her liking.
So it’s not like Sonic dosen’t like Amy at all, he just feels like the idea of him and her being together might ruin career and also lose his freedom which he strives of all else in his life and everything fights for and believes in.
All of this makes me thing that sonic is forcing himself into liking sally so he can escape the feelings he has for Amy and that’s not right. He needs to learn that Amy feel in love for the hedgehog she first layed eyes and she would never change him for the world.
I mean have you even READ the Archie sonic books. Sonic chose to fight Eggman and save his friends than to stay and fox him Sally’s relationship and that’s how they broke up so I feel like the Goku and chi chi relationship is more akin to Sally the more you think about it.
Ps: Sorry for these long words but I just can’t stand this sonic hating amy thing since on the inside I feel like sonic has legit reasons into avoiding amy and even thought their not healthy they are pretty reasonable
