    Phil, their older stuff from 2004 to 2005 was more traditional bluegrass but they have evolved, they do play bluegrass covers & they play Rock covers they play Top 40 covers. I guess you can call them new grass or Jam grass cuz no they're not traditional.

    you do know that The Eagles of Death Metal aren't really metal don't you? You must not be posting real close attention there Phil. GSBGs last album, Shouted, Written Down & Quoted, debuted on the bluegrass chart at number 3 on the billboard list. and the one before that, Is Sorrows Swim, debuted at #1.

    The stupid rap verse ruined the song. I shared it on FB, but quickly deleted it when I heard that.

    No bluegrass here, please don't fuck it up like you did to country. Its new country rock, don't call yourself bluegrass, drums and guitar played way up the neck and even close. Elizabeth Cook is good and could do good bluegrass but this aint it

      You do know this is a cover, right? Like, for fun. With musicians not normally in the band.

      Rock n Roll w/ bluegrass instruments there Billy. Get off your horse.

    • @billephilip
      @billephilip Před 7 lety

      Sorry I guess as an old bluegrasser, I see these people trying to slip shit into bluegrass that ain't. I guess I don't want to see it screwed up like country was. If you want to play it don't put your bluegrass band name to it.

      I just listened to a bunch of Greensky Bluegrass here on Utube, never heard anything like bluegrass. All I heard was a filthy mouth and a guy that needs a haircut doing alot of shit stuff from rock artists, so were's the bluegrass to use it in their name. Never heard of them in real bluegrass circles, I can see why.
