- Some awesome skiing at Magic Mtn, VT back in the 80's. Great Heli's, Flips, Daffy's, Twister Spreads, Bumps, Powder, Massive Yardsales, Double Heli and Heli Daffy by Greg Williams, Front Flips by Stephen McIntyre, Neil Meyer and Chris Kelly. All the music is from HOT DOG The Movie. Glory Days!!
Greatest ski movie ever! This one’s pretty good too.
It was a fun time.. pounding bumps on 205-210's, no fear, trying flips, double heli's etc, just a bunch of 15-17 yo's having fun. Finding this footage brought back a ton of great memories and the movie was integral in all of it!

Love it, I never did ski, but Hot dog was and still is a favorite movie of mine. And footage is great, music also to it so funny, and good.
I remember when we used to read magazines. Sports Illustrated killed this movie. Mocked it relentlessly. Good memories. I wiped out on every slope on Powder Ridge in the early 80’s in Connecticut. Left a lot of blood on those trails, and a few ribs.
Reminds me of when I used to ski (snowboarder) and used to attempt to backscratcher, spread Eagle and Daffy everything.

Just a little? Skiing is so much easier now. I'm on 167's vs 205's lol. But those babies could fly. Dynastar with the red bubble at the tip

They were called the "Brat Pack", and not the "Rat Pack".
The"Rat Pack" included Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Angie Dickinson, Sammy Davis, Jr., Jerry Lee Lewis, Joey Bishop to name most of them. They were popular in the 1960's, 1970's and really 1980's.
The"Brat Pack", the group you are talking about, included Charlie Sheen, Emilio Estevez, Molly Ringwald, Ally Sheedy, Judd Nelson, Anthony Michael Hall, Rob Lowe, Demi Moore, Robert Downey, Jr., Jon Cryer, John Cusack, Kevin Bacon, Keefer Sutherland to name many of them.
"Rat Pack" in this context is from the Movie "Hot Dog The Movie" a ski film which all the music is from. We had our own "Rat Pack". Had nothing to do with either Rat/Brat pack you listed above.
