I have one reason as to why we should get a legends unova. THE ORIGNAL DRAGON! WE CAN SEE KYREM, ZEKROM, and RESHIRAM all combined like it was hinted at in Black and white 2 if I remember right

After the Diamond and Pearl Fiasco. I lost hope for the remake. I feel like the Nintendo/Game Freak isn't even trying. All they care is printing money. I highly doubt they would listen to their fans.

i think if its gonna keep the modern mechanics, they should make Black and White 3 and update the dex a bit like they did in 2, if the originals get remade the only fairy you'd be able to in the main game is Whimsicott

By Scarlet & Violet do you mean open world? Or just using the art style they had for SV?
I think what he means to explain, is that we do not want a similar mistake of low top-down over world camera angles, like what was made in SP & BD.
I would like upscaled 3rd Dimensional characters and buildings as well, ESPECIALLY if we are going to be thinking or to be discussing about the possible Remasters or Remakes of Video games.

Graphical details are important, as is the hardware that it goes on to, because we all know how Violet & Scarlet was on launch.
It was a graphical, buggy, glitchy mess.
Hopefully TPC has learnt from BDSP and they make the BW remakes awesome 🙏
The remakes are going to be johto. The hints are in sv. headbutting trees, typhlosion focus, kitakami, a new legend trio. HEADBUTTING trees

Johto doesn’t need another set of remakes it was never Gen 2s turn AGAIN. If anything gf is hinting to a let’s go Johto, for the mainline series remakes gen 5 is next for that.

There are more references of unova in SV. Indigo disk being near unova, the legendary musketeers getting paradox forms and sure while the legendary beast get forms too but the legendary beast did feature in both the zoark movie and in a black and white event
I’m super hopeful for Unova now we have all the DLC references
If it's true that they're planning the remake of either Pokemon Johto or Pokemon Black and Pokemon White games for next year then I'm hoping it's better than Pokemon Brilliant and Pokemon Shining Pearl Games because I wanted the graphic designs of the characters and the scenery to be more like Pokemon Sword/Shield and Pokemon Scarlet/Violet games.
Yeah, people hated SWSH on release but to be honest, as far as the designs of cities and things went, that game was pretty fucking good.
Most of the towns/cities in SV though we’re depressing, they had no real life to them
I want them to keep join avenue, its one of my favorite features in the game as well as the musical theater. I am hoping they can add some minigames as well

@@J1mothyyyMe too, but i still find joy even without being online, I think if I remember correctly if you connect your 3ds to a server it might have online for b/w 2, I can’t remember where I learned that unfortunately 😭
I have heard you can connect to servers and get the event pokemon, but I haven’t heard anything about the actual online.
I collect games so I have both B&W2, so might have to look into it…

Yeah, more likely a Gen 8 style purely as they’ll be easier to use for switch than the 3DS models
I wouldnt bet on any more legends games, it undersold compared to the mainseries and they've already taken the mechanics they liked from it to put in Scarvi. Its the same reason we wont see abother lets go game, they dont nKw as much money. Lets keep it simple with a 1 to 1 of black and white 2.
I feel like they could really flesh out the legends game, and make something really awesome.

@@J1mothyyy I'd be down for another legends game if they added a battle tower, More battles in general throughout the game and maybe even breeding for longevity. Otherwise one other change would be not requiring dex completion for the final goal of the game, cuz I grew to hate the original after HAVING to complete the Pokedex to catch Arceus. It could be refined and made to compete with the main series sales wise while being more creative I'll agree to that. Just a matter of if they are willing to put in the time to do that.
I always believed that PLA was TPC testing the waters to see how well an open world game would do, hence why Scarlet & Violet were announced pretty quickly after PLA had launched.

I don’t think we’ll see a traditional “port” due to it being a DS game, we will see some sort of remake
Best advice I can give is: Don't make a wish list, it'll only lead to disappointment.
Maybe Gamefreak will see it and add all the things I want, you never know 😂

I think adding mega evolution wouldn't hurt look at oras the story was the same but they added mega evolution lore to the story they can also do this with black and white

if it's another port like bdsp i will riot. Pokémon has really been sucking lately so if they somehow mess up arguably one of the best generations that'll be very disappointing
BDSP wasn’t really a port, it was a 1:1 remake. What was your issue(s) with BDSP? Most people just hated the art style but otherwise is was a pretty faithful remake
They can’t remake BW as faithful since BW1 was only Unova Pokémon and many old fans hated that, so I’m assuming Gamefreak will learn their lessons and will remake 5th gen themselves. If not it’ll show they only care about gen 1-2 smh.

Next year when the shut down pokemon bank there just going to rerelease vers Red Green/Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, Crystal, Ruby, Sapphire, Emrald, and flag shipping the DS rereleases on Nintendo Switch with Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum all of which will now have Pokemon Home compatiblity similar to Pokemon Transporter and Pokemon Bank with a new update that will release one year later while we throw out a hastly made Black and White remakes afterwhich the DS originals will be rereleased with Home functions coming a year after release following the Hastly™️ Release of the Black 2 and White 2 remakes and you can fucking fill in the blanks.
Pokemon really is a money printing machine with no regard for “high quality” like we see with Zelda and Mario

They’re gonna have to make some changes to get it to work on the switch generally, I.e. moving from 2 screens to 1, but I get what you mean.
Just give us BW 1, 2, 3 and legends Unova and everyone will be happy 😂

There’s a good video someone posted on reddit and the side by side comparisons are insane. Gen 6+ looks so dull & lifeless comparatively

I’d be down for any region 😂 but TPC tends to be a little more adventurous with Kanto than other games
@@J1mothyyy Yeah I agree. I like kanto as much as the next person but it's appeared in 7 mainline games counting the johto games and 3rd versions. But still that's quite a lot compared to most other generations that usually only get like two games tops

My fav feature of gen 5 is the seasons and I see we dont get legends game pla was garbage and pla was a test if they could make a pokemon game with free space
Seasons would be sick. PLA was definitely a test but I had a lot of fun with it. Even playing it again the other day on stream was still hella fun

i would prefer a gen2 re-remake... because i liked that you can travel johto and kanto. and i liked the japan-theme. because japan is awesome.
i mean unova also had some pleasant sites but t.b.h. i don't like those new pokemon. it was okay until gen2 but now they're just too many and "gotta catch em all" is just wearing you down. i mean who has the nerve to catch 500 pokemon. 150 was reasonable. 2xx was still managable if you have a lot of free time but 500? no. just no.
and they're not even very innovative or so.
but what i would like most is a game were you could acutally CELEBRATE legendaries. like you can catch a pokemon that has the ultimate power over eartth or water, capture the literal pokemon god and in the end it's just a dumb deer that gets owned by a bidoof
I would like a modern version of Johto games just to have them on the switch, but I think it’s more likely that if we see a Johto game, it’ll be a fresher take.
I’ve also never bothered to complete the Nat Dex for that reason 😂 it’s like a second job at this point

I do kinda miss the events we had for getting Legendary Pokemon, and how they had special criteria and little cutscenes/areas.

I disagree DP sucked, and I also disagree on that being the reason BDSP sucked.
One of the things I’ve seen a lot of (and I think I included a photo) is how the art style made the game a bit lifeless, and as time goes on that seems to be peoples biggest gripe.
I think BW getting the BDSP treatment with a different art style (I.e. one of the 2 styles I discussed) would be awesome. Same with B2W2, otherwise I’ll just play my DS copies 😂
I honestly don’t think people will ever be happy. People have and would complain exclusively about the graphics and them not being BW3 or Oras style remakes. BW went from the “worst games” to the most demanded return to form. They left a legacy too large for people to really be happy with given how modern gamefreak does things. Gaming as a whole has grown hella toxic and people will find any reason to hate something, even if it’s good. I just hope gamefreak realizes the long shadow BWBW2 left and surpasses it. They have to.

@@J1mothyyy DP literally do suck without Platinum They would’ve had a X/Y Situation. DP are by far the slowest games & it had no content compared to Black/White. Platinum is what saved Sinnoh.

ports won't happen. They won't combine BW and the sequels. BW3 is never going to happen. Please no Legends Unova. I personally want faithful remakes even though others don't. Mega evolution can stay gone still it wasn't a good gimmick. BDSP didn't fail. It was exactly what remakes are suppose to be. Overworld pokemon doesn't need to happen imo. Lets Go for Unova won't happen
Ports definitely won’t happen just due to the nature of them being DS titles and not scaling well.
I’d love to see a combo but it’s not likely, same goes for BW3.

Faithful remakes I agree with, but a more faithful art style would be good, even more so if they stay 2D.
BDSP was critically rated as one of the worst titles in the series, which can be argued as a failure, but that doesn’t make them bad games per se.
Overworld would be nice but isn’t a necessity, but it won’t be a lets go game, it may just re use the art style we saw in let’s go

@@JamieAlexander18 Again, I was talking critic ratings. Mainline games will always outsell spin offs, as you have several people buying 2 versions each, for collections and to get all the pokemon, versus PLA which was a single player only game

God I would love that. I think that’s kinda been replaced by Pokemon Go, they’ve done some integration in the past with the mainline games so I guess that’s “good enough” for them. (Also it integrates with home doesn’t it?)
@@J1mothyyy it does, but nothing will beat specialized hardware like the pokewalker. That's one of the reasons HG/SS are so damn expensive today
