I used this to encourage someone about our neighbour who's 84, lost his wife and daughter in October and December last year, and doesn't recognize anyone. Yet he's been a believer in Christ so even though he doesn't know people and can't do much for himself, the Lord is faithful and still lives in that old house. Glory to God! It's a very touching song.
I am a Chinese and I really hope that in the future the government can permit the development of gospel songs as well as many church music. Introduce the songs of JD.
JD Sumner's voice is soothing. It reminds me of 1Corinthians 5:1 "For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands." May my hand remain firmly in the Lord's grip for as long as I live. 🙏🙏
I am thinking of Joni Eareckson Tada who is in this video. She has powerful testimony of the Lord's presence in her life even though she is on a wheelchair.

On this day in 1998 JD went to be with the Lord and Elvis and we miss him every day and if we're all good boys and girls maybe one day we'll be up there and they'll be singing in the ultimate choir with them peace be with you my friend.

@@jennifursun3303 ummm nah, Jd said in an interview that once elvis sang bass in the quarter while JD sang a chorus or a verse on a song so maybe he couldn’t pick out the harmony and needed help but that doesn’t sound like Elvis. Elvis loved gospel and it was all he listened to according to JD. The last record he played was a record of the stamps. All this was quoted from JD himself so I mean

That is a long time. You have seen much and been through much, but God has been there through it all for you! This is what I would like people to say about me. Faithful and true thru the good and the bad. Sometimes all you can do is cling onto Him and He is faithful.
I am 76 and my Jesus still lives in this old house I have fell short so many times but he has forgiven me each time Now I am near the end of the road and I love him even more than ever before.

Jennifer, I am like you too and so many of us are, why DO we have tobe older before we can appreciate this, I guess too burdened with life, children, keeping up with the Jonses or being the Jonses the older I get, 73now, the weeks are flying by, my wife and I every Friday morning say, where did this week go?
