Friend, you made a big mistake there... DCS WORD has nothing to do with ACE COMBAT!
I don't know. They are very similar games, both being power fantasies about blowing up dumb enemies by the dozen. The big difference is that Ace Combat comes with a functional campaign while DCS has lots of fun clicky buttons and switches to press in the cockpit.
Both games are:
About flying jets
Have extremely stupid AI.
Ground units have no countermeasures and just sit out in the open.
Ships with hitpoints.
Warcrimes
Nice looking clouds
I think they have a lot in common. :)

Not to offend anyone but the whole "Dance with the angel" dialogue grosses me out. Like I hate how it sounds
