Shagaf oud is definitely a great scent , I was in a cafe and the girl& guy working there said I smelled so good and asked could i stand there all day to make their shift better 😂 an elderly couple behind me said I did smell really nice too and got a free muffin. So win win!

I swear Ferragamo has the best cheap/average line of fragrances that smell like they are more than double the price. Not that prices matter in perfumes, smells are extremely subjective/personal. I've tried Ferragamo's Uomo and its flankers, gotten compliments on all of em. So i decided to give their Signorina line a go, as presents. Specifically the Misteriosa, Ribelle and OG Signorina. They were all absolute hits.

Black oud aswad by swiss arabian could be a heavenly rose field in the fresh morning when the dew is glistening on the leaves. Or it can be a dark sweaty Shisha hell at midnight in Marrakesh. Only depends how often you spray it.
I sniffed 👃 the franck olivier oud vanille..!! I loved it (I’m a woman) . I sprayed it on my wrist and I came home after few hours , washed my hands 🧼 .

Woww oud touch is one of my favorites of all time! oud Vanille is just like it but more feminine, heavy on vanilla and caramel! You should try oud vanille!

The type of oud I like is the one in TF Tobacco Oud or Oud Wood. Oud Vanille was also good.
I just received Shaghaf Oud and this is an oud I really don't like.
A stingy, nauseating and head-ache inducing oud. Or maybe it's another note.
I get the same sick feeling when I smell PDM Haltane and Por Lui from Rasasi.This is what Shaghaf Oud smells like to me. Might be something else that isn't the oud that makes me sick that those fragrances share, but I can't wear it unfortunately.
Edit: I looked up the notes. It's probably praline and saffron.
My favorite cheapie is Guerlain l’homme ideal cologne!

Shaghaf Oud is my cheap winter scent of choice. The opening can be a little synthetic but it's really hard to fault at the price. The staying power is insane on me. I actually have to wash it off! As I love spicy, oriental / arabic fragrances this is the easiest of dumb reaches in winter. Not, I feel, a summer scent... too cloying in hot weather with that sweet praline note, but that does walk back after an hour or so.

Actually that is avery good question... I don't think I came across 1 that I don't like at all actually.
Interesting because I can name 10 women fragrances easily that I don't like but don't have that with men's fragrances
in the middle east we dont use perfumes we rub straight up oud oil on you neck hands and clothes and make everything that we touch smell like oud for a week

My favourite low budget fragrance this summer is Moschino Uomo.
One fragrance that I have, that I really enjoy and that I do not see often is Rochas Moustache EDP.

I loove your way of recommending perfumes. And your naturally good mood.you bring sunshine in hearts!! Do you know patchouli Elixir by reminisence? Its heavenly warm and embracing scent. The oud Touch is too much as a perfume but......its suuuuuper good to be used as a exklusive room perfume. Imagine a few Sprays after you cleaned up the whole house- wonderful!!! Especially around wood furniture or Bock shelves. It has that antique vibe that i cant describe right.

I've actually been after a mont blonc for a while now , so thanks for reminding me 😊👍I nipped into my local chemist and found a 100ml bottle of EMBLEM for £20 UK 🇬🇧 ts actually very office, sophisticated and a nice musky, oud smell.

How does shaghaf oud and shaghaf oud aswad compare? Bottle and name is very similar but do they smell completely different as they both have oud in it
I dont know if you read it, but Shaghaf Oud is awsome, it reminds me on MFK oud satin Mood extrait de Parfum. It smells very very good. And i bought Shawq also from swiss arabian, its a pinapple Fruit bomb so delicious, if you like pinapple this is so so good, 21€ please try it, i think you will realy love that one.

Just FYI there is a female version of Daarej which is a beautiful scent... I actually purchased it thinking I was buying the male version and ended up giving it away and getting the one for men but in truth I could probably have kept even though it targeted for women. Love your reviews and love the list!

You ever smell the lattafa rave creed clone? It smells like a delicious pineapple bomb with some smoke behind it like you just roasted the pineapple on a open fire. Its my favorite creed twist/clone
