Rory Williams: Um.. yes hello. Hi. Rory Williams here. Also travelled with the Doctor. Just for the record, I died too. Several times, actually. Now that I think about it, it was kind of a running theme of my tenure. So, I guess that will be a no on the puppet. Well that's alright then.
When the Toymaker snipped the strings of Amy Pond’s puppet, he looked to see if he could get a rise out of the Doctor, but only got a very good counterpoint.
Not really. Sure Amy still got to live her life, but she was still trapped in the past, having to essentially start over with Rory as the only person with her.
Since they send them back in time to absorb their energy, I like to imagine that their victims had "low energy." You'd think Weeping Angels transporting them to the future would give them more energy because the things they'd do in life was no more; whereas transporting them to the past would give them an opportunity to change history; but whatever. They don't make sense, in any case it's make-believe.
Wish there was someone like the toy maker in more shows. Imagine him tearing apart every person in game of thrones or the boys rationalizations for everything they’ve done. I’d be floored

I’d like an extended version to. But I think the toymakers point was trying to make it seem as if all the doctors companions suffer a terrible fate, that was his message to Dona to perhaps try and scare. This is also is why he went straight to saying they were dead despite having the power to know that they didn’t simply just die. Rory could have been included. Shame he wasn’t. Though I don’t think it would have been a very long explanation. Just that he had two companions for bit because they were in love. But they were touched by weeping angels and died. And the doctor would just say they both died of old age together.
I totally love the artistry they put into those puppets. Even though briefly seen, they looked awesome from my end. Doctor Who is ART. That's why not many people got Forest Of The Night, Kill The Moon and Flatline. They were showing the artistic aesthetics of the show. I got those stories fine, but for others, it went over their heads, especially Forest Of The Night. It does not deserve the hate it got at all, nor does Kill The Moon or Flatline. But, that's just my opinion.
@@NauticaSea217 My feelings towards Kill the Moon are mainly because of the way it executed its political message, but I will agree with you that yeah, the artistic vision in this show is incredible and those are episodes where they really pulled through.
I always thought he believed Testimony Bill when she explained what happened, and knew the Bill in front of him wasn't her because she didn't seem to know what happened after leaving with Heather.

When he describes Clara's death "by a bird" his face just cracks me up.
