My wife and I have been married for 64 years and I know I,'ll never find another like her The Lord has truly blessed our life together and we thank Him for every day we have spent together
One of the most beautiful voices in music history. Her timbre, tone and power, was unmatched at the time. She sang brilliantly up until her passing. I love Judith Durham.
I just buried my wife of 60 years on 7/21/22 and came across this song totally accidentally. I have tears streaming down my 85-year-old face. Thank you so very much for such a great song performed brilliantly. Many blessings on all of you. How do you have such a long marriage? Two key ideas: Forgiveness and Fierce Conversations (not arguments) but speaking our truths to each other when the inevitable bumps in the road happened. (I strongly suggest that those reading just the above take the time to read the whole thread because you will learn some pretty amazing information about what happens after death. Paul) 11/6/23 Two more key ideas have emerged. Commitment: Promise celebrated and renewed and mutual spiritual growth FULLY SHARED.
So sad and yet so inspiring for us to read. Let those tears roll Paul. I lost a wife to cancer at her young age of 55. Lots of tears were shed. Even right now just thinking about it. Guess I'm just an emotional guy. Here are a couple of other songs along that highway. Alone, by the Bee Gees. Barry and Lesley are the only survivors of the 5 siblings. Barry's mission is to keep the music alive. Born the same month and year as me, Sep 46. Also the song Memories, by Elvis. Hang in there Paul with songs. Best to you.
I was a child when this came out and my wonderful dad was a huge fan of the Seekers. I remember once in the car he started singing this song and we all joined in and sang it all the way through. We all knew all the words. It was a magic moment. From that moment this became a special song for our family. As we grew older and my brothers learned to play the guitar we often had family sing-songs and this song was never missed out. Happy, happy memories. I'm a grandfather now and I sing it to my grandchildren.
From the US- this song came out when I was a child, so I bet we are the same age, roughly. I loved this song then and its timeless message is even more important now that I’m in the “golden years”. When this clip flashed back to the 1964 clip, well I’m not afraid to admit it made me emotional, especially with the loss of the lovely and talented Judith Durham. RIP Judith, thank you for the memories.

Judith lost all of her money when the Swiss bank she had it in collapsed. Unfortunately, the bank was not insured. I have no idea if she minded at all. Shades of this hauntingly beautiful song.
R.I.P. Judith it's been a year ago when we lost you. Your group sounded the same through the years. I rank Judith up there with Karen Carpenter and Linda Ronstadt. You will be missed. You were so beautiful. Thank God for your voice.
All such beautiful voices. Judith's vibrato is different from Karen's... created differently in the throat. I'm no expert, but I think Judith's is like a 'cough' vibrato (like Bert Lahr's Cowardly Lion, where there's lots of power behind the vibrato. Karen's was more of a 'natural" vibrato by moving the larynx up and down. All beautiful stuff.

This beautiful song was included in my beloved husbands’ Celebration of Life service. It’s absolutely true; he was the most uniquely quirky and wonderful devoted and loyal man ever. Married at 35 for the first time and we were married for 29 years 11 months. I know without a doubt this man is in heaven, as he loved Jesus and I will see him again. Love you forever Randy.
Just read PaulEveretts comment about losing his wife of 60 years. Like him I came across this song after losing my husband of 50 years on 9 20 2022. Yeah, I'm crying, too. Our marriage was strong because we included a third "person". God. It makes all the difference in the world.
With my wife visiting her in carehome. She has alzheimers and it's great if she opens her eyes, a smidgeon of a smile and holding hands. Listening to this song. She is still here, sort of, but losing her bit by bit. There never will be another her.
Heard today that Judith passed and it is devastating for her fans and all who knew her. Beautiful, talented and the most amazing voice. What a legacy to leave behind. Sad isn’t strong enough a word. R.I.P. Judith. Thank you for the music.
yes, I actually have the same lung disease and am a singer so absolute kudos to Judith for her amazing perfect pitch of a voice and to live with that damn disease it is not nice........The Seekers a bit before my time but I have over the last couple of days watched so many interviews of her....She really was an amazing woman....RIP Judith Durham and there will never be another you
I listen to this song every morning in remembrance of my love, Earl, who passed 11/01/2021. We would sing this song in the car and when we come to sing "I'll never find another you", we would look at each other and sing it. Thank you Judith for your beautiful voice on a song that will forever be memorable for the rest of my life.
I was 6 years old when this came out on the radio, and I knew when I heard Judith's voice that it was moment that would stay with me forever. Year's on and Judiith's voice still haunta me. I never forget the 1st time I heard her voice and when I go I know it will be a voice I take on the next journey. what a treasure
Who was juddit the male voice. If so it's sad and wonderful song at the same time. Yes her voice was ended a breathtaking voice it's why got you Depp inside
I was not aware of this band until last year! But I see it's not too late to appreciate Judith's voice... LIVE! ;-) As we say in French, it hasn't put a wrinkle on.
This song reminds me of my beloved husband who is now resting until resurrection comes. My heart never stops shedding tears for him. Yes, someday we'll be in the promised land and we will hold hands again. '' I will never find another you '. Thank you Judith for this beautiful meaningful song. It touches our soul. See you in Paradise too someday!
My late Partner was in hospital after suffering a Heart Attack, while at work I heard this song tried to hold my emotions together to no longer, I broke down, hiding behind the Conveyor Belt I was operating, was discovered shaking and crying uncontrollable. This song holds so many emotions. ❤️ God Bless to you all who have losted their loved ones. 🙏❤️🕊️X
I know I'll never find another Judith Durham, and my world is diminished. What a wonderful woman, a wonderful spirit, a wonderful song. God bless The Seekers, and may their music never fade.
My oldest brother introduced me to this band back in 165 when appeared on Ed Sullivan show. The whole family had to watch them but no one seemed impressed other than my oldest brother. 10 years later, I found a cassette tape their greatest hits in his garage and started playing tape multiple times a day and became so hooked on all their music. When my brother was slowly dying; I played this in the ICU unit at hospital. He somehow reacted to the music. I knew how much he loved the seekers as I have as well
I grew up in this era and now feel as much as I loved the music I took it for granted. It was a time that at times I feel I'd like to live over again. Especially as a teenager driving my 57 Chev down to the 'Big Boy' burger joint to hang with the crowd, listing to these on the jute box. Times today, they call improved modern times, not me...
_"Judith has a voice from Heaven. 50 plus years, and at 77 still sings like a bird. Wonderful. SF"_ This is not live: they synchonized the original sound-recording with a performance of decades later ;-)
Thank you for the kind note. My first herald is just two days away it would have been out 51st anniversary and still feel some what lost but ok. @@catskill49murphy27
Daddy and I would dance to this , way back. Brings tears to my eyes as I close them and dance with him again. I'll be 60 on saturday - I'm older than he ever was but I'm still proudly his baby girl. Thanks for stirring such preciously beautiful memories x
Hey Kenneth this song brings tears to my eyes also... Fortunately I had someone to send it to and I hope she feels the same... 40 years we've been going so maybe she feels the same!
I, too, first heard this in 1965 as a fifth grade student on spring break. My family had stopped at a Holiday Inn in Florida. We went to eat in their restaurant and that is when I heard this marvelous, timeless masterpiece playing in the background. I was mesmerized by the vocals, Judith's in particular.
I graduated from high school in 1965. We had a folk singing group (3 guys and 2 girls) and this was one of the songs that we sang. This brings back a lot of nice memories.
I first heard it around the same time, and it became permanently stored--easily accessible!--in my memory. I love her voice and I love her songs, and I'm sure I'd love her if I ever met her.
Am almost 74 now and have enjoyed this song for the better part of 60 yrs. I'm still waiting for a gal like Judith to come along -She's one fine gal with an amazing voice.
I, too, am a veteran, but I was somewhat luckier than you. In 2000, at age 55, I met the love of my life. She truly was a coal miners daughter who only wanted to be a wife, mother, and home-maker...roles at which she excelled and gave me the 10 best years of my life. In 2011, she went in for spinal surgery...and never came out. The 10 best years of my life followed by the worst 13 years. And I know I'll never find another Vicky,
I’d like to say thank you to the other veterans who have left comments here. I too have never really found that other someone that Judith Durham sings about. But I have however found the Lord Jesus Christ, and I’ve accepted Him as my Lord and Savior. That was the very best decision that I’ve ever made in my entire life. Now I have the assurance I will go to Heaven wherever my time on earth has come to an end. I will also be able to see my dear mother and sister who passed away a few years ago. I have a serious disability that happened when I was in the military, but I don’t blame God for it. It gave me an opportunity to serve my country and to travel overseas and see a lot of places and meet a lot of people that I would never have met if I hadn’t been in the service. The Seekers are one of my favorite singing groups. I try and listen to their music every chance I can get. Rest in Peace, Judith Durham. Thank you for your beautiful voice and may God be with you for all eternity. ❤❤😢😢
This is my song because I my darling wife passed away suddenly last August and this song was mine since I met her 56 years ago. It will always remind me of her whenever I hear this song. What a beautiful reminder and memory. The song came out when I met her in 1965.
What a voice! RIP Judith. xx Grew up listening to her, my Dad said she had the 'voice of an angel' , played a Seekers track at his funeral, I feel a loss now she has gone. The end of an era. God Bless.
Having read her autobiography, I was surprised to learn how lacking in confidence she was about her appearance. i would've given my right arm to look as good as she did! Just goes to show how we don't appreciate how we appear to others!
Pure beauty in her voice. I've listened to The Seekers for close to 60 years. Rest in everlasting peace, Judith. We have your voice to remember you always.
I too have kept this song close to my heart about the same amount of time. It was a song I sang to myself in 1972-1974 period. It got me through some tough times. It helped validate my feelings
I remember those days for sure There was this beautiful song 🎵 and many more also .a great band of that time and still out do some of this time in our time
Full state send off in Melbourne. Another devastating loss to our Australian industry of music and entertainment. An icon. She was brilliant, yet didn't know it. One of the greatest Australian voices ever, yet so humble. Will never be forgotten. ❤😮😢😊
Her voice has done same to me warm powerful sensitive voise it's for this that she is so beautiful I listen to her every day and everytime she gets inside my mind
Feel very sorry or you 😥!! If you have bible .. in Revelation chapter 21:4,5 and John chapter 5:28,29 you will find a lovely hope for the future ... it's a wonderful promise from our creator ♡♡♡
I was twenty year old dude, living in South Kensington, London SW 7. I loved watching Top of the Pop on TV every Saturday night. Old songs like this one were played each week, I’m now 79 and still listening to old songs like these on Utube, remembering the days when I was young. Yes, those were the good old days.

My Mom also, my Dad passed from COVID in December 2020, she plays this every day. Survived war, the streets of Philly growing up, only to have COVID take him away at 84 years of age in December. Heartbreaking. Miss you Dad xo
I am 70 year old Brazilian retired pastor. I didn't know Judith nor Theo Seekers. The First time they came to my knowledge Judith had already passed away! What a voice she had! RIP Judith you live in my heart!
RlP Judith, you had such a beautiful voice ,I have fond memories of you and the Seekers, growing up with the Seekers in Primary School, and then later on in life on the bus weekend trips away , the whole lot of us would join in the sing alongs

Have you finally found your another one? I want hear your stories. Leave your beautiful stories at my door I'll leave them for the one who waits behind. From the shadow of your smile..
Been listening to this since it was recorded in 1964..still listening..one of my all time favorites..beautiful ful voice Judith..thank you Seekers for this gift
Judith is "one of few" in the world that has "perfect pitch." And yes her voice is very touching. She has had a stroke and still sings in perfect pitch. What a woman and singer.
music like this is no longer being made, made by real musicians, with no computers, or drum machines. the money was well spent on the production cost. I am so glad that I was around to hear it on the airwaves when it first came out. I also really liked "GEORGIE GIRL" !!!!!.
thank you for responding back to me!!!!!, I just can not get into this "GARBAGE" music of today, and it looks like it is not going away any time soon. music would as a rule would change every 5 years. we have been "STUCK" with this style of music for 25 years now. I got off the music boat around 1995------- "I HATE RAP MUSIC", it really is not music, it is more like "CHANT" !!!!!!
@@gregoryclemen1870 I totally agree with you that today's music is mostly total Garbage, especially the rap music (or rap noise). I was forced to leave a car dealership the other day for a casual visit because of the kind of lousy annoying music they were playing in their show room nowadays.
@@gregoryclemen1870 I've heard some churches use chants instead of hymns which seems very mind controlling to me, much like hypnosis. Practically all the modern crap is very mind controlling also.
I cried when I heard the news I am 70 yrs and have loved the seekers since I was young there music was always heartwarming NEVER stopped listening listening now and want to cry over her loss will never forget ever RIP Judith
I lost my 41-year-old daughter seven years ago on July 19. I just turned 73 yesterday. It’s been seven years and this song is still so appropriate and always will be not just for a husband or a wife but for the loss of your child. Thank you for this song Judith. I remember when it first came out this is my generation. It was just as appropriate back then and had completely different meaning to me since I hadn’t lost anybody to death yet. But for a teenage girl, this was seriously the boyfriend song.
A timeless vocal gift. Their greatest song in my opinion. How many singers could sing better 30 years later?! Better than they did as wide eyed kinds in the Sixties. It must be the purity and joy of their reuniting that rekindled that old flame. Like an inferno! Had Judith Durham not broken away to pursue a solo career, history would have changed. The British Fab Four would have been eclipsed by the Aussie invasion. When the Beatles broke up in 1969 the chasm would have to be filled. The Seekers, aided by the larger British recording industry could have reached untold heights. No doubt even Paul McCartney would admit the Beatles had no one with the incomprehensible talent of Judith Durham. And neither did anyone else! JUDITH DURHAM COULD SING THE CHINESE PHONE BOOK. BACKWARDS!! Nobody had greater range as an artist. Or more rapport with an audience. Rest in peace Angel of Music. And long live the bands surviving members.
I was very young when this song came out, Remember it well. Too young to understand it at that time. Always liked it. Now that I’m much older, I think it’s one of the most beautiful songs ever written !
I am making my comment on 5-5-23. I love this song. I think it's message goes way beyond words. I like how this group the Seekers stayed together to sing to bless other people. The lady has a beautiful voice and it has not lost it's power through the years . And the gentleman😮 also sing well. Listen to it often. Thank you. Johnny The Patriot
I was in my garage listening to my favourite radio station when I heard of Judith's passing. I recall becoming numb and lifeless and in an instant I began sobbing profusely. It was as if I'd lost a life long cherished loving friend. A day never passes by without me thinking of her Angelic voice. Dear Judith, there will never be another you. I'm sure the Angels in heaven will have a hard time competing with your beautiful voice. Thank you from 1965 - 2022 - God bless.
Beautiful tribute Rodney for a lovely woman with a magnificent voice. ❤ Rodney you don't happen to know what key this beautiful song is being played in. No worries if not. Mary xx
I was 14 years and since then, I love their songs😍 I’m 67 She inspired me to sing. But since I’m not as good as She is, I now I belong to a Chorus at Church🙏
I have listened to this song so much since I lost my husband in 2014. Many a tear I've shed. One of the most beautiful voices I have ever heard. Rest in Peace Judith ❤
I listen to this again after having lost my wife of 51 years to Cancer, and remember the good times, with very wet eyes. What a great tune and group. We loved this musical era...
RIP Judith - I 1st heard your beautiful voice when I was 3years old listeing to the radio that my mother would leave running whilst she would drop my elder brother to infant school - I am grateful for my mother for leaving that little blue Philips radio running because I looked forward to the wonderful tunes of the sixties whilst I waited for mum to return and feed me - this song and Georgey girl were amongst my favourite's from the Seekers and your voice was amazing and timeless and it made me cry about my brother who died in 2021 reminding me of this song and my mother taking my brother to school - life is so short and so quick but so amazing how wonderful God is to create so many wonderful people - RIP Judith you will be missed.
Sorry for your loss of your brother . I lost my brother when I was 8. Listening to the fab 4 and Judith's voice , makes me happy even tho I have tears in my eyes , I always remember my brother hearing this beautiful song. I too was a young girl hearing their songs , I remember Georgy girl on the radio all the time as it was very popular. ( number 1 for a while ) God bless , from Australia 🇦🇺 🙏💙💚
This makes me think of my Mother. It came out a year before she got her wings. I was eight years old. Thank you Judith for expressing how I will always feel about her. I'll never find another like my Dearest Mother. Rest in Peace Judith. What a heavenly voice you had. Thank you so much.
Another of God's Angel's that was put here on earth to show us that there is beauty and love in many songs that have a special meaning to many of us mere mortals. Judith Durham is a blessing for us all. Pure music to our hearts .💙💜💙💜💙💜💙

When I listen to this gem for 11 minutes and 55 seconds, and it ends, I simply replay it, over and over and over again. The decades flow back, my many friends and some lovers return. And yes, the tears flow, happy and yet sad ones, thank God for Judith!! And if I ever say I need to find something else to play, it is always Morningtown Ride, what a group they were. With me the Carnival is never never never over. RIP Judith!!!!!
Back in 1979, my wife and I attended a "Marriage Encounter" weekend, not because we needed help in our marriage, but to enhance our marriage relationship. It brought us closer together, let us share our feelings about each other which we may not otherwise have done. Especially me, being a rather introverted, unexpressive type. At the end of the weekend, all the participating couples met in a large hall, and we all sang "'I'll never find another you" which was the Marriage Encounter Theme song. The words of this song are as true today for us, as it was when we first sang it with the group. Even after 48 years of Marriage, through thick and thin, good and bad, happiness and tragedy, these lyrics still mean everything to us. "I know I'll never find another you"...Thank you to the Seekers for giving us this beautiful, meaningful song.
I was 10yrs old when this song came out. I loved the song, and fell in love with Judith Durhams voice. I play this song on my birthday every year and it brings back memories from my past.
Hey how are you doing?
GOD BLESS YOU (from Brazil).
With my wife visiting her in carehome. She has alzheimers and it's great if she opens her eyes, a smidgeon of a smile and holding hands. Listening to this song. She is still here, sort of, but losing her bit by bit.
There never will be another her.
It is hard to take this especially when it is someone so loving and for them not to know the person that they married😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

What an incredible song. I cant shut it off! Makes me cry to think of when I might lose my wife of over 40 years.
Heard today that Judith passed and it is devastating for her fans and all who knew her. Beautiful, talented and the most amazing voice. What a legacy to leave behind. Sad isn’t strong enough a word. R.I.P. Judith. Thank you for the music.

I listen to this song every morning in remembrance of my love, Earl, who passed 11/01/2021. We would sing this song in the car and when we come to sing "I'll never find another you", we would look at each other and sing it. Thank you Judith for your beautiful voice on a song that will forever be memorable for the rest of my

So very touching. Thanks for sharing this moving story

I was 7 when I first heard them. Brings tears to my eyes! Just beautiful!
Judith Durham was born 4 weeks after me in 1943. I have followed her whole career and loved every second of it. Judith we will never find another you.
Judith's voice has stood the test of time and her mates still keep in perfect harmony. The Seekers, are a timeless masterpiece.
Beautiful song, beautiful melody, beautiful voice of Judith.
I've been listening to her voice since the early 60s.

Linda, I had the same experience. I am quite surprised that I could totally lose all control and yet love the feeling that Judith sent to me.
Wonderful ❤
All good Linda
I know I'll never find another Judith Durham, and my world is diminished. What a wonderful woman, a wonderful spirit, a wonderful song. God bless The Seekers, and may their music never fade.
Some musical groups are overrated. This group, The Seekers, is underrated. I luv this group.
I frequently tear up when I hear her voice because it's so pure and soothing.. She has been one of music's great gifts.
There’s no other song that has touched my soul like this in a very long time!
Think back Tom. Didnt that voice put a lump in your throat even when we were kids? Just now that we're old its difficult holding back the water.
Let 'er flow Samuel. Let 'er flow and be comforted knowing you are not alone 💕
This group maKes me back to My most beautitul age (Sixties) thanks a Lot for post, God with you
I am in love with this group. Is practically imposible to describe what I feel when I hear this wanderful son.
I knew how much he loved the seekers as I have as well
Hello 👋 how are you doing today?
I grew up in this era and now feel as much as I loved the music I took it for granted. It was a time that at times I feel I'd like to live over again. Especially as a teenager driving my 57 Chev down to the 'Big Boy' burger joint to hang with the crowd, listing to these on the jute box. Times today, they call improved modern times, not me...
It doesn't get any better than this. Judith has a voice from Heaven. 50 plus years, and at 77 still sings like a bird. Wonderful. SF

This is the most beautiful song I've ever heard. The lyrics bring tears to me eyes. Judith's voice is angelic.
77 years and that voice is still beautiful
Hey Kenneth this song brings tears to my eyes also... Fortunately I had someone to send it to and I hope she feels the same... 40 years we've been going so maybe she feels the same!
Yes, Judith brings out so much, love this Gal ! Brings me tears as well
Couldn't agree more. It brings tears to my eyes too.
You are 100 percent right. She is an angel.
I first heard this song in 1965 and have never forgotten it. Judith is so much more appealing than the flash and trash singers we have today.
What a wonderful time we lived in!
Am almost 74 now and have enjoyed this song for the better part of 60 yrs. I'm still waiting for a gal like Judith to come along -She's one fine gal with an amazing voice.
I am a 70 year old Veteran...I have always loved this song.
Wished I had found my ' someone '...

I sang this song to many audiences as a teenager in the 1960s with my guitar! My mom loved for me to sing it!
music like this is no longer being made, made by real musicians, with no computers, or drum machines. the money was well spent on the production cost. I am so glad that I was around to hear it on the airwaves when it first came out. I also really liked "GEORGIE GIRL" !!!!!.
YESSS ITS SO FABULOUS !!! I KNOW JUST WHAT YOU MEAN
thank you for responding back to me!!!!!, I just can not get into this "GARBAGE" music of today, and it looks like it is not going away any time soon. music would as a rule would change every 5 years. we have been "STUCK" with this style of music for 25 years now. @@gregoryclemen1870 I totally agree with you that today's music is mostly total Garbage, especially the rap music (or rap noise). I was forced to leave a car dealership the other day for a casual visit because of the kind of lousy annoying music they were playing in their show room nowadays.

There will never be another voice like that of Judith. Rip Judith, their will never be another you.
Remarkably, Judith’s voice seems to have hardly changed over all those years.
The memories that sound. Absolutely brilliant 👏 👏👏👏👏
Back then nobody had hair catch on fire, nobody had their nose fall off, no antics, just pure talent.

"I know I'll never find another you"...Thank you to the Seekers for giving us this beautiful, meaningful song.
i could listen to this for a 100 years straight and NEVER get tired of it
You'd never make it apart from obvious reasons and the fact that you'd have slit your wrists after 100 days.Folk music for Christians.

Beautiful! RIP Judith.
No matter her age! She will always be beautiful and sing with grace!
Love you Judith❤️
I was 10yrs old when this song came out. I loved the song, and fell in love with Judith Durhams voice. I play this song on my birthday every year and it brings back memories from my past. I'm 67yrs old now and it seems like Judith has been with me all these years. Her voice is as beautiful as ever and she's aged gracefully. ♡♡♡♡♡
I remember when this song came out in 1965 I love the song
