From Rail To Dock! Train Unloads Iron Ore into the Marquette Dock!

On the evening of July 17, 2021, we were able to catch LS&I's 3 Dock job switching the Marquette ore dock. We got the drone up in the air, and were able to capture some shots never before seen of this operation. While many have caught the dock unloading iron ore into the ships, no one has ever gotten footage of the train unloading the ore into the dock. With beautiful scenery, the incredible structure, and ancient ore hoppers, this is truly a sight to behold.

84-2000, It's been too long.
Back in the day my father-law was a "Dock walloper"on this dock for years after WWII.
